I mean, I personally thought the AI could be better at a pack-formation manner, but when these AI are built so that they only fight one person, it can be overwhelming for them to have multiple targets. I think the Arc troopers did amazing, it was their programming's fault that they lost the final round.

@Pabs Oh, I know it's an entirely illusory effect generated by largely separate algorithms, but it does create the illusion. It sometimes seems like those misses are due to one trooper trusting the other to deal with the closest threat, but the latter doesn't quite get a shot off before he's closed in on by the purge trooper... but that's the emotional, narrative framework I'm choosing to project onto it.

However it was most likely not long after the empire invaded the Mon calamari homeworld where a jedi was hiding out and basically orchestrated the entire event to force a rebellion. He actually later triggered the chips in the clones turned purge troopers who went on to attack the inquisitors who were mostly, if not all former jedi, and killed some of them.

ARC Troopers are so cinematic. In the 3v6 the cornered trooper literally fought like he had his back against the wall and was separated from his brothers. And you can see later in the background he's victorious, not only surviving but lining up a power shot at the others. Fordo would be proud of that one.

I mean look at them, they hold the four purge troopers off while helping each other when they are in danger. It almost made them feel like real people. I know it's always said no, because they are like high skilled infantery officers with training from the best bounty hunter in the galaxie, but I think the commandos were made for special purpose so the arcs could be more efficeint in oder stuff. At 8:01, a lot of people point out how the ARC in the back saved the one who’s crouched down. But nobody realizes they actually switched targets, if you look closely the crouched ARC shot the Purge Trooper who was going after the one behind him.
