great build as always. I have 2 partycades i used a 90 Degree C13 3-Pin Female to C14 3-Pin Male and put the plug on the side of the machine. It works well with larger arcades allowing me to route the power cord better. I love your ability to make it work keep up the great work. What i would like to learn or find the part for is the volume rocker wiring and setup because i usually have the little mini amp connected to the speakers but that little knob is clean up top.

I have a friend who has 12 Arcade 1up stand ups, and when I go to his house, he doesn't know that I'm laughing inside, because I feel like I'm standing in an Oompa Loompas dream arcade. I love these as they can be used as a novelty but also a good arcade experience. Maybe I'm just grown up a bit too much. I just wouldn't feel proud having an arcade like that. That's not the arcade experiences I grew up with.

I hear ya, I hear both sides as well. Some people blame space and also the cost of real machines. As long as people are reliving their childhood one way or another, I'm all for it. Now for people thay wanna say a a1up is better... then yea I do the inside laugh as well

Just a tip - if you want high scores to be saved, turn dip switch 3 on.

Good tip however i Have that enabled... issue is powering off the cab. Once powered off scores get lost... not powering off, high scores stay saved

ok, so, what do I need to get the stock board hooked upto a zero delay encoder with this diy retro card. walmart has these for 99 bucks right now. Thought it would be simple to just slap an at games pick inside of it, and hook up the stock controller board, and then have a wireless at games controller to use for anything that needs more buttons, or I can drill a hole. Im not picky about buttons, for something that costs 100 bucks, I'll keep it stock. but I want to upgrade the board and put something in it. Figured you could basically make an atgames legends ultimate mini mini... lol total price would be like 250 bucks. 1 bucks for cab from walmart, 100 bucks for at game puck and controller froms samsclub, and then 30 from diyretro, and 10 from amazon for an encoder. I just don't know what encoder I should get...

Hey bud, just don't understand what your trying to do. U want the "diy retro card" meaning you want the 60 on 1 board? A 50 on 1 board is a jamma based system. You can't hook an encoder to it, jamma wires go directly do the buttons and sticks. Slapping an atgames puck means ur only using the cab for its screen and buttons. At games puck has all the games a 60 in 1 would have and more. Again not sure what your trying to do 🤣 If you want a reference, check my videos for the "2 in 1 control panel" that's a system running a pandora box and a rasp pi. Same kind of setup like you want where the buttons and sticks are talking to a encoder and the pandora box.

These 1up partycade's shape/design is so minimal I love it! I think I'll end up modding mine pie style! Custom 6buttons new screen,damn I' already got all sorts of of concepts/plans for mine.

I did a 60n1 on a pac man partycade just like yours but now I wish I had done a raspberry pi or something better. Is anything compatible with all the 60n1 parts or would I have to gut it again and start from scratch?

You would need a usb encoder and the pi. Don't think of it as starting from scratch as you needed to do the lcd mod and such... it's more like your halfway complete. If you did the speaker mod like me than the only thing you would keep from the 60 In 1 is the power supply. Other than that nothing from the 60 in 1 would work with pi besides the buttons and joysticks.

Arcade punks has pi images, but nothing is plug and play. For simple plug and play setup... king of air and 60 in 1 is best Glad to see your getting help from fellow viewers 🤘 Stay tuned I have a vertical pc build in the works that has over 1100 games including pinball

Is it possible through modding to add games such as: Blitz NBA Jams Donkey Kong Defender Out Run 2 Etc To my Arcade1up Ms. Pac-Man unit? If so where do I start? I assume I’ve got to swap out the keyboard and various components. Question 2: Where do I control the Ms Pac-Man settings such as speed, number of lives.. etc

Half the games you mentioned will not work well with a ms pacman arcade unit as the screen is vertical... NBA jam and blitz and outrun needs a horizontal screen. On the 60 in 1 board you need to flip the dip switch to get into the test most

With the King of Air 2 board I don’t understand 60 in 1 anymore.

Is the KoA2 board interchangeable with the 60-1, or is the wiring slightly different? I know they are both JAMMA, but I thought I heard that you couldn't just swap one for the other without slightly changing the wiring.
