This is the song my wife and I played for our first wedding dance. I know the song is actually kinda dark but for us this song reminded us of when we first fell in love. Every moment is better with a soundtrack and this was ours!

This is art. Something you can interpret in different ways every time. It can make you happy, and it can also make you sad. This song is dedicated to the being I've loved most in the world thus far. If you're lucky enough to have everything that matters right now, I hope you realize you have everything now. And you don't waste it searching for everyTHING else. I love you P, always forever.

This song is a work of art, I heard it for the first time today. I have never heard a song which could make you feel so happy, yet so melancholy, such a range of emotions. I’m 44 and must have listened to this at least 2 dozen times today.

For a song that has an upbeat tune, the lyrics have a rather deeper yet slightly darker meaning to it. I like it.

Definitely the most catchy song from Arcade Fire. I love the great ironic difference between the lyrics and the melody. Emptiness never sounded this positive! And it's impossible to sit still through it.

This is a truly magical song, It has a clean sound that many songs from this decade seems to lack, when I originally heard this on the radio, I thought it from the 90's, and every time I hear it I think "yes, this is how modern music should sound" maybe all the big players of modern music should take a look and learn from this masterpiece, a modern classic, one of the only pieces of 2010s music I like, and a true great in my opinion. watch this space

There is so much great music being made today you just have to search for it. The radio won't reveal the gems to you most of the time.

" _There’s sort of an everything-nowness to life. I feel like almost every event and everything that happens surrounds you on all sides. Some of it is fake and some of it is real and some of it is trying to sell you something and some of it is profound. Every moment of everything refracts into a thousand different things. It’s trying to capture some of the experiences of being alive now in all its flaws and all its glory. I remember being in a cafe once and I was overhearing this woman talking about watching The Sopranos and they had just finished watching The Sopranos, like they kind of binge-watched The Sopranos over a weekend. One of them was saying, “Oh, it’s so annoying that there’s no more Sopranos. I guess I’m gonna have to find something else to watch.” This was maybe six years ago-five years ago and it just hit me that this thing that took ten years to make someone watched in a weekend and was annoyed there wasn’t more. I was like whoa; I feel like culturally the moment and this kind of era that we’ve entered into of kind of everything-nowness has positive and negative sides to it but it’s definitely a new way of being._ " -Win Butler, BBC Radio 1

While some songs were a bit underwhelming for me. Overall I think the album is beautiful. It makes me think of a whole generation of people like me who grew up having rather comfortable, easy lives and still ended up not being as happy as expected, wanting to have a break from the relentless stimulation we experience every single day, and yet not being able to live without it. It shows the complexity of our zeitgeist, suffering a silent, anxious and apparently unjustified sadness that makes no sense, but hurts, and a strong yearning that never seems to be satisfied.
