It was winter of 2007-8 and I was listening to this song while standing up and moving my infant son around trying to get him to sleep. I remember thinking about his future and dreading the day he would be leaving. By the time the song ended, he was asleep. I have listened to this song in the years since and it has always haunted me and made me appreciate that time with him. I just came across this video again and now my son will be graduating from high school this year. Time is ruthless, but I am always grateful for that moment and for this song being its soundtrack.

In that scene in the pub tho, it said it was 2006, and this song was released in 2007. But… the film was so good, and the track so good, who cares! What is strange is that the song was apparently recorded in 2006, released in 2007, but they were playing it live in 2005.

Remember when you released Rebellion (Lies) so catchy I would walk around banging a pretend tom drum and then Power Out. Which became my favourite. I'm honestly not very familiar with your discography, when I heard this song for the first time it hits me in a way where I stand in awe of your musical presence. As far as alternative rock goes or indie music. It's funny what imagination can do, or those aspirations how you imagined something, and then. When it comes to pass its hard to even believe it exists within that scope of reality.

I first heard this on a montage of the first episode of Series 10 of Top Gear, so I often associate it with driving music. Indeed if I find myself driving on the highway with this song playing, I start putting my foot down at 3:42 and go as fast as I dare.
