It's so fun watching different videos of Arcade Fire and seeing them all playing different instruments; trading around the accordion, the drums, the keyboards, the guitars. It's like, "oh, now the keyboard player is playing the accordion", "now Regine is playing the drums". There's so much going on.

Saw you guys at the CMJ music festival in NYC in 2004. It is still, to this day, the best concert I've ever seen. It felt like the room was sprinkled with magic that night. Saw you again 2 months later at what I'm guessing is the smallest venue you've played at in the last 17 years, Mojo's (now called Rose Music Hall) in Columbia, Missouri. Another absolutely epic show. Thanks & much love!!!

I was lucky enough to see Arcade Fire open up for The Wrens at Bowery Ballroom a loooong time ago. They were selling copies of Funeral on DvR. Fortunate to see them many times after they got big the best show being in Central Park when David Bowie joined them for the encore. Epic.

@jvickers93 жыл бұрын
@Martin Moylan, they won Album of the a Year for their third album, how much more recognition does a band need? Ultimately, they aren’t as big as they should be because indie was kicked aside for EDM and EDM inspired pop/hip hop somewhere before the middle of the decade. Their whole timeline needs to be five years earlier for them to have realized the the full potential of their fame. Every great band loses their steam when the tastes of the zeitgeist shift.
