It didn't do anything and when I pressed extract again it said that windows was not responding and cleared the boxes off the screen and flashed back to my home screen

I would recommend just deleting that failed base assets zip file and download it again and try, sounds like something might just be corrupt with it. It should extract exactly like all the other zip files

Yeah I understand, best place to download is in the Google Drive I have all the links in the description of the video If you have a flash drive and a computer and a decent internet connection this should only take you a few hours to get up and running most of the time involved is with just transferring the files onto the flash drive

When I go to extract the file it is now taking an entire day. Is there a trick to speed it up? Maybe WinRAR to unzip on to the flash drive?

It should not take that long, what kind of a drive are you using. At LEAST try to use a 3.0 flash drive with a 3.0 port on your computer. The best option is an external SSD. A 2.0 flashdrive would probably not work and take forever.

Is the side bezel artwork for each game (that doesn't already fill the full 4:3 screen) included with the arcade/console packsl files you get off the archive site? Or do you manually have to scrape the bezel artwork afterwards? For example, does it already come with Ms. Pacman side bezel artwork since that game is vertical and would have black bars on the sides.

It's already included, all the artwork for each game will load on the sides while you're playing the game since most are 4:3 this display is 16:9 I believe

Does it have instant video preview without any black screens in between switching? Similar to pandora boxes.

Yes it does, And if you leave it on the kiosk it will actually perform some sort of attract mode and it will cycle through the previews of each game in the library

@@TacticalDingus I don't think you're understanding "instant". Whenever I scroll on builds, it will have a microsecond of black screen. It takes away from the scrolling. Look up pandora boxes, you will know what I mean. No black screen in between video previews.

Thanks for the video and links! I've got a 128 GB SanDisk drive formatted for NTFS and all the files loaded from there, but when I plug the drive into the Legends Pro, I get an error message: "Insufficient folder nodes. Unable to load all the addon files due to insufficient folder nodes. Please move some of your files onto another USB drive in order to see a complete list of addons". I even tried using a smaller USB drive (32 GB) and it gave me the same message. Any idea what could be causing this error?

I believe the legends pro runs a separate firmware from the ALU cabinet itself. I'm not entirely sure if this will work with the legends pro, best to consult the FB group and see what some of the Mods say

@TacticalDingus Thanks for the reply! Shoot, the two machines look so similar, I just assumed they were the same firmware too. I submitted an application to join the FB group yesterday, hopefully it gets approved soon.

@osn777 yes they look very similar I think it's identical, it's just the control deck with no arcade cabinet around it 😂

Do I need the scripter text file that you have on your flash drive? I didn't see where you downloaded that. I get the to the scripter part on AddOn and a load it but nothings happens. Thanks.

Yes you do the scripter file is what launches the program. The scripter file doesn't exist until you plug the flashdrive into the arcade cab, once you boot it up for the first time and it configures everything only then the scripter file will appear when you plug it back into your computer, you might possibly have something corrupt on your drive after unzipping everything. Best bet is to delete your Appdata folder then unzip the appdata zip folder to the root of the drive again. Also like I mentioned in the video try unplugging the drive and retrying a few times, sometimes it doesn't recognize it right away if you're using a flash drive.

Hi great video! I recently purchased the Legends Ultimate HD full size and my firmware is something like 5.71.... In order to use OneSauce 2.0 as I see here, do I need to downgrade my firmware to 5.68...or will things run fine on 5.71. Many thanks!

You should be fine with 5.71 if for some reason it doesn't work it's very simple to update your firmware

With the HA8802 when I put in the usb it doesn’t read it as a firmware update. It just says it’s mounted. Any ideas on this?

Someone of onesauce said I need to put USB in before turning on the machine so going to try this. Also I wasn't sure if file name needed to be "ha8800_update" or "ha8000_update.img" so going to troubleshoot both. Some reddit also said ha8802 might work so will see if any of the 4 work

Renaming to "ha8802_update" without the .img on the end worked, not sure if thats common knowledge but previous video had the .img so it wasn't finding the file. Thanks!

Great video! I have my pc plugged in to the new 5.71 sams club but cant get the control panel to register. Im thinking of adding awesome sauce but not sure how or if i want to downgrade the firmware.

You have turn on OTG mode in the settings on the arcade first, once OTG mode is on change the input on the display to the HDMI for your PC and then boot a fighter game or something up on steam and then you should have use of the control deck once the game is loaded

You can also stream games wirelessly over your home network but you need the AtGames application on your PC. It can be found on their website to download for windows, it basically does the same thing just over wifi without the HDMI connection

Hi just been trying to get this to work all looks right and i downloaded it again but stiil wont work. I get to the script screen then it just goes back to the ad on screen . does this work with the new lua running 5.71 firmware ?

It should work yeah! Maybe try deleting the App data folder from the drive and re extract a new zipped Appdata folder to the root

​@@TacticalDingus It did not work I checked the scripter.log in notepad and this is all that was in it /media/usb0/ . does your scripter.log say the same thing in notepad ? And thanks for helping man that is so cool.. Update from reading post on facebook page I guess it only works up to 5.70 firmware . So the new arcades shipped with 5.71 firmware these will not work and i dont think it can be downgrade either as it can brick your arcade . So thanks for the help but there nothing anyone can do to make this work lol have agood one man

Thanks very much for this! For arcade titles that utilize the trackball or spinner, will the trackball and spinner automatically work? Or do you have to do other configurations elsewhere to get them to work?

from my experience games that utilize the track balls and spinners automatically work, for example Golden Tee or Centipede just work automatically with the trackball or arkanoid works with the spinners right from the install. if there are any issues this runs retroarch behind the scenes so you can get into all of the keybindings and set what you want to which buttons

Are high scores for arcade games saved using onesauce? Is there a certain way to exit out of the games so your scores are saved?

@@vpx_pinball_mayhem yeah everything is saved internally on the flash drive even after you power off and power on the arcade all the high scores should still be saved

I've been trying to gain access to the Google Drive link for about a week now. Is there anything else i need to do other than request it?

Make sure you're logged into the same Google account you requested access on I made that mistake before. But no I don't know what the holdup is My best suggestion would be to just go to the awesome sauce Facebook group page and make a general post asking for an admin to accept your request to the drive

Make sure you join the retrofe Google group I put in the description first You need access to that to be able to have access to the Google Drive with the download files

Hmmm I'm not sure, try not the link but actually search for awesome sauce on Facebook and see if that's any different. It is a private group but it should at least give you and option to join it. Make sure you answer the questions when you request to join

It may take a day or so for someone to accept your request into the Google drive, as far as the Facebook group just make sure you fill out the questions correctly when applying to the group and agree to the terms
