I remember playing this game on an arcade machine in the 90’s and when you picked USA they would probably only score one 3-pointer in a game. And I’ve played and watch a lot of matches thru the years as a kid. I think he’s cheating or maybe you can change the difficult on the later releases. You can for example download it on PS4. Maybe they added the option to make it easier to play.

This was another one of those games during the 90's that was there to take your quarters in the Arcade figuring you wouldn't finish the entire game or you'd spend a few dollars to do it. (if you went to the Mall you had to go to the Arcade. The memories)

I don't particularly like basket ball games but this is a brilliant game and the only basket ball game I'll play, it's fecking awesome if I'm honest typical NEOGEO style! I love the power slamdunks the screen flashes the rim bends and the players all fall over, thats what makes this game so awesome plus the killer soundtrack and the game play is just right.

The only way to finish this game is to use the dunk fake a lot. If you try to dunk, the CPU will always reject you after a certain point in the game. Use the dunk early release which turns it into a lay up, and you will get it every time.. The best team is either the strong 3 point team (Taiwan) so if you need the last second 3's to win you have the best chance, or the best defense for blocks which I think may be Germany?

@zidaneff you can, but it follows the Neo-Geo AES tradition of having limited continues per player, the only benefit of the VC version is that you can adjust the settings unlike the Data East Arcade Classics version which doesn't let you set your difficulty (it's always at Level 4), along with being infamous for showing the Neo-Geo logo for a split second before it abruptly cuts to the G-Mode logo
