If anyone is wondering what's exactly happening during the "Weebles falls Down" part of the game and why everything suddenly freezes...Well, it's actually based off a game featuring the Daruma m(the red round guy) and it's basically Japanese version of the popular kids game "red light, green light". When the person who's it (usually called the Daruma-san) finishes saying a phrase, turns around to face you, you have to stop everything and freeze. If the person who's "it" catches you moving then you lose and are out of the game or the next person to be "it", but if you are able to get to the finishing line without getting caught you win. It's part of the game that most people who aren't familiar with Japanese culture might not recognize and might confuse some people.

In Japan, it's just the phrase used for a game involving a daruma doll, in which you must freeze mid-dance or something once the doll falls down, or you lose. This is what's actually happening in game during the fight with the 'weeble'. I still know what you meant tho.

Weebles are a popular American egg shaped toy created by Hasbro for their Playskool line of children's toys, where did you get a British tv commercial from? The Weebles toy is literally the first thing that comes up when you Google "Weeble". So more than likely, it's referencing that, as the slogan on the commercials for Weebles is "Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down". I don't think they even have Weebles in the UK.
