Taito's intros in the classic years were always beautiful. Taito's Dino Rex has a fantastic intro story AND in game one that becomes batshit insane as it goes on well worth a look. And then there is the original - Zero Wing "All your base are belong to us" on the Sega Megadrive =)

Just looked up the specs for this game. It's a power house of a system with two CPU's a Motorola 68020 (32bit) and 68000 (16bit). The 68020 is on the main board. The 68000 runs the music board. However, it still doesn't run as many sprites and tiles as Sega's Y board (Galaxy Force, Power Drift... ). Don't get me wrong, it's a very impressive game that look incredible.

Sensei-SCHLAUCHI does it again! so this one's basically (more or less) "NightStriker" with a bunch of elements from "Metal Black" thrown in, like the warping backgrounds, the storyline in a few instances, or the fact the Player's ship looks quite suspiciously like the Black Fly! I thought myself a true Taito connoisseur, yet I've never even heard of this one, and for that I feel shameful... if it's any consolation, I'll pick it up to play it (read: get my ass whupped by it like most Taito games do, LOL) on my M.A.M.E.
