The bat tops coming off during gameplay can also be fixed using plumbing tape instead of glue (no mess). Just wrap the tape around the threads of the joystick and screw the top on. Holds for years, yet still can be removed without a ton of hassle if you want to change the top out.

I am surprised that people would rather spend $500 on a cheap generic looking Arcade1UP instead of spending extra $200 or so to get a proper Japanese candy cab that is basically 1000 times better than arcade1UP...
@tjkan2622 жыл бұрын
@@modology I own 3 candy cabs but I still want this for online play. imo online retro gaming is really the selling point here. The arcade scene was always about playing with strangers and that aspect is missing when you have arcade machines at home. I have a question regarding gameplay. Are you able to adjust difficulty levels, so the cpu opponents are not very difficult to beat? Thank you!
@RetroRalph2 жыл бұрын
You sure can; you can adjust difficulty on all the games included on the cabinet. So if you're learning any of the fighting games, this makes it a bit easier to get started. For example, SF2 CE in the real arcade had 0-7 Difficulty, it was set to around 3-4 typically, but you now have control over that at home via the setting on the User Interface of the 1up. It's actually really cool that they do this now. In the past, you were stuck with the default settings and couldn't adjust them.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. I have quite a base of original arcade fans now that would probably disagree, but hey, you like what you like. 😂 Thanks man, I did a lot more comedy bits in the early days of the channel. You might enjoy it… I also did some console stuff as well. Anyway, I appreciate you watching!

For the bat top screwing off one thing I do: take two pairs of plyers and tighten it lol. Provides a scratch but the joysticks are cheap anyway.

I wish they would just make a machine that was all of their 6-buttom fighters in one but that'll never happen. Would be cool to just have MK series, SF series, Marvel fighters and Killer Instinct all in one cab!

So have one question. Great review btw. So other than the art is there a difference between this one and the yoga flame version? Thinking of picking up one but want to make sure I get he beat one and saw there both the same price so just want verification and thanks for your time.

Right? That's what I was thinking... When they asked I was like, me?!? Surprisingly, this product addresses a lot of my complaints from their initial offering in 2018. Anyhow, I appreciate you watching!

Was that the Golden Axe jump where you pulled your back, man?? Maybe I'm thinking of another video...Great review though. Good to see 1Up releasing decent mini cabs again.
