Hey Guys, Thanks for watching! Let me know what you think of the Arcade1Up Claw Machine and are you interested in adding it to your home arcade for $499?
@Synplex2 ай бұрын
Just a heads up, those are large ball shaped capsules, not inflatable balls. I'm assuming arcade 1up has built this so that the claw can only capture those items and if you put your own random prizes in you'd void the warranty.😂

Claw machine would be a cool addition to the home arcade scene. I mean... Why not? LOL Could put little mini arcade toys in it, or something for Christmas parties, and such. Thanks for the look at this. :)

I would get it. It is a nice non arcade item to your game room. I would like Arcade1up to maybe add some colors to it to make it pop a little more. Hopefully they add some cool led’s to the cabinet.

Definitely not for me but…. Whether it’s worth it or not, it can appeal to family’s with kids. TBD if it’ll be reliable enough to last very long though.

@tamara_kama2 ай бұрын
Not gonna lie, I'm actually pretty excited about this one unlike the previous one (the pac-man wood grain cabaret) because this looks sizable and bigger than the typical claw machines in that price range that are maybe half the apparent size. This could potentially hold bigger prizes than those that seem to only be able to accommodate keychain sized plushies. I've been saying that I could use a claw machine to help round out my home arcade and this could be it. The only thing is this the logistics and this is a machine that would have made actual sense to have coin-op like the smaller ones in the same price range. That is unless you are okay with giving away prizes or have an understanding that people have to return the prizes and or pay for their winnings under the table so to speak.. haha Or you could start doing a ticket system where the machine has rolls of them as prizes :P
@Synplex2 ай бұрын
@4:08 those aren't inflatable bolts. You can clearly see their large capsules for you to put your own prizes into. I've seen these before in claw machines.

If I had room, I'd get one. Perfect place to store all my plushies ;) At least you could gear it to be FAIR. I hate claw machines because they're rigged to suck. Over in Japan, I actually pretty good with the claw machines because they weren't allowed to make them TOO difficult. The ones here? Fuggedaboudit.

I’m positive on this one, to say it’s for looks only, the same argument can be made for all their cabs. Why not own one multi cab with MAME or a raspberry pi? Because you want an arcade. I want one

If the Arcade1Up claw machine is really being released, will it have enough room to fill it with toys, candy, stuffed animals and maybe a few $100 bills mixed in 😊. Also how well built will it be? A home arcade claw machine would be pretty cool though.

The KEY is Alliance Entertainment... the exclusive distributor of A1U products is behind both this and the Pac-Man Plus cabaret cab. So, that goes to show the relationship is already bearing fruit, in a sense. And if I was a betting man, I'd wager it won't be the last we'll see before Christmas.

I don't hate it. I'm not in love with it either. Honestly I would need to hear more about what this really is, but I can definitely see how there would be a market for this if it's priced right.
@CA-tk8yn2 ай бұрын
How often would someone even play this? Also consider the cost of putting prizes in it that are won and need replacing. This should be a huge build number as it caters to only a few home arcade builders. That's a lot of money to spend on what amounts to a piece of arcade art.
@PC_TV_732 ай бұрын
Yep, it’s cool. 102 times and then it sits and it also depends what you could put in it if it’s just balls with candy or could you put stuff toys then you have to always have cool things for the grab machine. And because you’re not really making money with it, who’s going to stop one of my son’s friends from sitting there emptying the machine out lol. I could see this getting boring really fast though even if you have a little kid once they empty the machine out unless you keep loading it with something special I just don’t see it. I may buy it maybe but I don’t see it getting much use maybe when my son‘s friends come over But like I said because it’s not making any money who’s the top a few kids just running through the machine emptying it out so you probably would only put candy in it then because if you’re putting prizes in there you’re gonna go and spend 50 or $100 in prizesI guess that is why they are only balls because people are just gonna fill them with candy. It’s almost like my coin pusher. I have candy inside so they could push candy over the ledge with the money and that gets boring just as well lol

Sorry, if the new pac man and this claw thing are really leaks, this is nothing more than sad, sad, sad. I have to believe both are false, otherwise it's just too obvious this company is totally lost on their target market, which should obviously be GenX first and foremost. This re-release at Infinium demonstrates real lack of focus.

Real or not, I'm missing the point of owning one. So you can have kids parties at your house? I thought the point of those machines is to get a prize that you DON'T own. What are you going to do, just fill it with plushies or some other toys that you've recently bought at a store?
