The only problem with games like Simpsons or TMNT, the arcade1up PCB is 4 players. Installing a two player deck cuts out two characters, I think having to swap connections to use the other two would be a hassle. Whatever works for you guys though, it does look 👍🏾 Also Joel needs to find a different yellow that would match the cab.

You didn’t splice the controls? I’ve seen people do this mod 1 side can work with 2 characters? That way you have access to all 4 but you’re limited on the combination of characters. That’s better than missing 2 of them. This mod on this cabinet is so weird. At least with X-men you can pick all the characters.

Does the cab wobble with a flush riser like that? Some of my cabs wobble more like Fast and the Furious than the riser cabs. It could be my floor. I have carpet in my room and some of my floor is not level. I use wood strips to level some of my cabs. I have The Simpsons.

Yes, this one will still wobble what I do is smash all my cabinets together so they are sturdy and they don’t wobble.

The Deluxe design is too wobbly... Especially for a fighting game, might be ok for the Simpsons tho.... Again they look great but wobble too much

I think GI Joel either needs to partner with a vinyl company or cut some vinyl himself and offer it with the riser. It's the difference between offering a good solution and a great one. I'm still waiting on the riser I won on your show and that will be for Tron which is all black. But for Blitz, I'm gonna need the art. Otherwise it looks like you still have a riser. imo your Xmen would look 100% better with full side art. fyi Buy stuff just released 19" screen upgrades for Simpsons and X-men. You might need more phases to your most recent mods 😉

Looking into artwork options for sure. Always listen to feedback and suggestions and always trying to make thing even better. Some of the bottom artwork is more obvious or could be creativity done. Blitz seems like one that could more easily get away with being all black. I m curious what you are thinking and wanting for blitz artwork? Would you want the vinyl on the riser to have farve and Marino's legs on it? As an extension of the cab art? Or just black with the nfl logo on the side like the stock riser? Or something else?

So with this mod you lose the ability to pick from 4 characters? It becomes a 2 character cab, correct?

For the Simpsons yes, but you can still player online 4 player. No one ever plays a 1up with 4 adults on one machine.

I get that it's hard for 4 adults to play, but I would like to be able to pick from all 4 characters. I wonder if there's a way to make that possible. I'm pretty much out of room and this is looking like a good option.
