Context: "Quantization, in mathematics and digital signal processing, is the process of mapping input values from a large set (often a continuous set) to output values in a (countable) smaller set, often with a finite number of elements." (Wikipedia) Basically, lowiro charter(s) "quantized" the chart timing from a "continuous" timestream (in computing in fact, nothing is truly continuous, but for the sake of human convenience, let's move on) into chunks of equally-very-long timespans, resulting in the 10FPS-likey effect we experienced.

@s1logen Having learned how to read Manic Jeer I consider them very similar in difficulty, Astral Quantization is just much easier to read (unless you suck at the visual gimmick for some reason)

It's really fun when you get the hang of it, but honestly I get it, lose the rhythm a tiny bit and your accuracy may easily drop a lot. I think people are complaining more about the difficulty number choice and not the chart itself. I've seen lots of people saying this is a 10+, and not a 10

The gimmick is fine as a 9 (See The government knows fanmade chart as the ref), but not for the arcs... I am super surprised by the arcs in this chart. Personal cc: 10.7 (Hate the arcs). One of the torturous 10s I have ever seen!
