I use speed 4.5 and I highly suggest you try slowly increasing you speed in increments of 0.2, and adding more when you feel like you're getting used to it. The faster the notes are, the more spaced out they are, so it's a lot easier to read. Getting used to faster and faster speeds is key to getting that step up above others!
