I figured out how to do the "jack" part a while back with this technique. I'm glad it's being spread around now. Edit: it also helped me PM this chart

0:59 that part of the chart is based off of Lanota and Lanota doesn't really do crosshands so I'm pretty sure that was intended to be played as jacks

Well, 0:59 is too familiar if you are a Lanota player, that part is basically based on the original cyanine's Master difficulty chart in Lanota, and for me, this part is considered jack and in Lanota, the game which doesn't require much crosshand ability, we can get it through with no crosshand needed, so anyone who can read this part in Lanota can also make it through this one in Arcaea as well...

It’s always 5 unless stated otherwise, I removed that marking since it’s always the same every time and analyzing time signatures is a much more fun thing to do

it’s just something to get used to, like everything else. it’s neither an advantage or disadvantage, but rather preference. I’ve seen people hammer the hell out of testify on their phone with their thumbs so

(this is kind of unrelated) i think having a phone *too* small would be a disadvantage, talking from a person who mashes thumbs on an iphone 6s. an optimal screen size might be like the 5.8" display on older iphones (like xs, 11) for thumb players.

@@elysia3928 thank you! i actually have a bigger phone, an iphone xs max, i mainly use it for playing with indexes because its a little too big for my tiny hands to do thumb plays arcaea is a blast to play on both of my devices anyway, its really an awesome game
