I must said that Skarner isn't villain but more like person who thinks his actions and decisions are the most righteous one and he knows the best

Malphite Is Giant, but yet he is a shard of a Gigantic flying fortress they try to use against the void. Somehow a piece of it gain sentience and decide to keep fighting the void by himself

I think Ne'zuk was the one that created Malphite from that flying island.

if you hadn't noticed during his champion, Malphite had an updated model. while he's not actually confirmed to be getting any sort of Visual Update, RiotMeddler gave some insight on his updated model: Malphite - wasn't intended to be public. That's a work in progress project looking that's exploring a different approach to visual updates to see how the work required versus results achieved compares to our more common ASUs and VSUs. Kinda like how with Jax we tried rolling out a full update in a series of pieces rather than all at once. No conclusions yet, I expect we'll talk about it at some point though

If you think Skarner ulting and dragging someone is funny, then you should see what people do with his old ult (when there's people actually play him that is). Can I introduce you to Kshaway, more relevant, his 'Skarner Gaming' video. It's a big League edited plays compilation channel. Just a suggestion, I don't know how you feel about these kind of stuffs, just felt the need to say when you mentioned it.

I am 5050 on his new lore. I just kinda liked the (potential) territory rivalery with Reksai (also not me who was low key headconon a from rivals to lovers with them xd), but the new one is rly cool too and reminds of that guardian machine fishy that guarded the entrance of Atlantis (Disney). Also i dont like playing melee champs much, but playing against him: His ult range feels disgustingly big (like usually within range of ranged characters auto attack)

I will say his rework overall is pretty great, I do however miss the old original look of his character being a full crystallized pink/blue scorpion and the old lore tied to it as other have noted. His new lore itself is good too of course.

Old lore was better imo. They changed it for the overarching story but his old lore put him at interesting odds with our heroes in Piltover.

Old lore was deep but me personally i prefer is new lore i like his connection to ixtal and there are more of his kind out there rather than him being lonely scorpion

The old lore was deeper and more interesting, I think. But they had to change it after Arcane, because Hextech crystals were made from Skarners species, that was a kinda of genocide by Piltover for it. All in all, he looks better now, has better voicelines, and is more interesting to play. The rework was a success, but I miss his old lore.

Long story short about old lore... Naturals Hextek gems use to be old skarners people souls... His new lore is not bad but skarner was a melancholic monster that whom people was genocide to fuel Hex-tek.

He definitely became more popular, but not that much, pretty much like average champion. Well, there are people who like him and people who hate him, I don't think there is even something in between.

I liked his old Lore. Basically it made Jayce and clan Ferros look like genocidal people for using hextech. Since hexcrystals were harvested from skarner's kin.
