KZbinrs watch the Netflix series Arcane League of Legends Season 1 Episode 1 Premiere "Welcome to the Playground". A prequel series to the video game League of Legends focusing on the characters Jinx and Vi. That's all I knew going into this show but I ended up loving it like everyone else.

There is a detail I noticed after rewatching some scenes from the series... when Silco first appears at the end of the episode he is applying his medicine to his eyes, he has no problem doing it, he is efficient without any hesitation, even if it being in an area so sensible as the eye. Cut to some episodes later... Jinx is AWOL, things are rough, his operations are backfiring and he has pushback from the barons... sure this is distressing, but he hesitates to apply the medicine, he forgot how... because he started to depend on Jinx to do it. Before her he would NEVER allow someone to apply it for him, not only because it is something delicate but because it made him vulnerable, but with Jinx... his guard completely fell, he trusted in her it was kind of a little ritual of trust they had, and he became so dependent on her that lost the motor memory and confidence to do it alone. It is a little storytelling detail, one of many ( many I think I didn't notice) that creates such depth to the "life" of the story.

All this is the start of a big game. Those who play the game must have noticed the constant presence of ravens near Jinx. And the crows are Swain's companions. He drove Jinx crazy. Told her the runes for the weapons. And having killed the council, he starts a big war. Those who know the lore of the game, probably like me, saw all the Easter eggs.

wait wait wait!! i knew the crows have something to do with swain (maybe fiddlesticks??? because of his interaction with jinx and his relation with crows) but i didn't know that swain was the one who drove her crazy??! i don't think that's true, because after arcane we now know the reason she changed and her mysterious interest in Vi in the game, unless arcane isn't canon?? but how could he manipulate her? is there something in the actual lore that implies he was the one that drove her crazy? if so, mind giving me some sources please?

10:08 You could have used this spot in your video timeline, to add a joke about people not understanding where the undercity begins - across the bridge, and not down the elevator. Like many think because of the word UNDERcity (later ZAUN). I've weirdly heard that confused many more than the fact, ... [SPOILER]... The red haired girl in EP4 isn't Vi. Rewatch the show, take your time, don't get interrupted by ANYTHING because every moment and dialog matters in this masterpiece. And it is the greatest thing i've ever watched, because it is creative, inspiring, solid, and no stupid agendas or politics were pushed. It's a straight 10/10 like Star Wars was in the old days. Imagination is what makes us HUMAN. And this doesn't only count for Kids. It's a great contaridct to the nostalgia we all feel here and there. I could start a youtube channel to talk about everything i liked in Arcane. The very small details i missed while i immediatly rewatched every episode. I hope they can really keep this level of a show. Doesn't matter if it takes them 2 years until 2023. I'm diggin'
