Silco is the best villian/antagonist, because he is so human and relatable. Was he generally a terrible person who was using terror and drugs to reign over a city and profit? Yes. Is he a man with a vision for a greater future for his people and the hardships they face daily? Also yes. But when he shows us that he loves Jinx and and that he would never abandon her you can really relate. When he went to Vander's statue/monument and "shared" a drink with him, and asked him for parenting advise... I just had to sit back in awe of how complex a character he is.

This. I keep seeing two opinions regarding Silco, one sees his genuine love for Jinx as a redeeming factor to what would otherwise be an evil man, or that he is evil reincarnate, disregarding any humanity he showed, where in truth he is neither. Arcane did a great job telling a story about humans, who at their core, are too complex to sort into distinct categories and would actually be an injustice to the writers who worked so hard to create such beautiful multi-dimensional characters.

I love how Jinx has Violet(or pink whatever you call it) eyes and Vi having Blue eyes(which resonates Powder). It's kind of like they have parts of them in each other Like Jinx has eyes of past of violence, the explosion that killed everyone, the madness Vi has the eyes of past Powder, the innocence, peacefulness, (which is what Vi wants for Powder)

And it's also like they're opposites but still the same of each other. Like, they've always been opposites, since the start, but now in a different way. Jinx can only care about violence and how the world seems to be against her, like Vi used to do in the past, and Vi just wants to be near her sister and have a family to call her own, like Powder. Also Jinx have blue hair and pink eyes, and Vi have oink hair and blue eyes, another point that shows that they're opposites. But when you stop and notice that now Jinx is like past Vi, and Vi is like past Jinx/Powder, you see that the story repeats itself, but in a different way.

**SPOILER** "It worked!" Powder exclaimed, beaming. "Did you see that, Vi? My monkey bomb finally worked!" Vi turned towards the ecstatic young girl, her eyes shutting and opening wide simultaneously as if trying to wake from a horrible nightmare. "You did this?" she said in a voice barely a whisper. "Why? Why did you do this?" Powder frowned in confusion. What was going on? Shouldn't her sister be proud; telling her how they never would have made it out without her? Then she followed Vi's gaze, and saw the blood-splattered goggles amidst the rubble. Claggor's goggles. She blinked, gasping in sudden fear. No. That wasn't her. She wouldn't. "I was saving you," Powder replied, drawing in on herself, her voice becoming small. "I only wanted to help," she choked with fear and dread as her older sister advanced on her in a threatening manner. "I only wanted to help, I only wanted to help! Please Vi-" Her vision went white for a moment, and her cheek stung painfully. It took Powder a moment to realize that Vi had punched her, causing her to crumple to her knees on the soot-covered ground. She stared numbly ahead, touching her cheek. "I told you to stay away!" Vi shouted, and Powder shrank from her sister's wrath. "I told you!" "Why did you leave me?!" Powder screamed, her voice cracking with emotion, her tears mixing with the spattering rain. She grabbed Powder's chin so she was looking directly into her eyes, and Powder quivered in terror. "Because you're a jinx," Vi growled in response. "Mylo was right!" She could see unfathomable pain in Vi's dark eyes, along with a simmering rage that terrified her. Her sister never hurt her; she was her friend. Her family. Vi's lips pulled back in a grimace, and Powder flinched as it seemed her sister would hit her again. Vi released Powder from her tight grip, so she dropped to the ground, folding in on herself. Through her tears Powder saw the blurry shape of her sister begin to slowly walk away into the darkened alley street. "Please Violet!" Powder screamed, sobbing. "Don't leave me! Please, please..." Her sister didn't glance back at Powder's pleas, and soon she disappeared into the darkened street. Powder screamed herself ragged, her body shaking violently as tears streaked her face. She screamed for Violet, for her family, for the world that was cruel enough to abandon her in her utmost time of need. She lay there in a puddle of her own misery for what seemed like days, even years. She kept seeing her sister with that look of absolute hatred and disgust, her gloves stained with Powder's blood. She was all alone now; no one to pick her up and tell her that it was all just a big mistake. Then she heard the distinct sound of hesitant footsteps. She looked up and saw a pair of polished black boots in front of her, stopped just before her face. A man peered down at her, a predatory expression on his countenance. It would have seemed welcoming, if not for the jagged scar and black eye on the left side of his face. "Hello, little girl," he said in a warm voice."Where is your sister?" A strange, violent emotion bubbled within Powder when he mentioned Vi, and she lunged at him with a yell. Her anger almost immediately turned to immeasurable sadness, and she sobbed into his gold-trimmed vest. "She is not my sister! She left me." She embraced him tightly, just glad for someone to hold on to. After a long moment, she felt a pair of strong arms hugging her back. It felt foreign, yet somehow deeply comforting at the same time. "It's okay," he whispered fiercely. "We will show them. We will show them all."

Love this! Please don't ever delete this. Maybe put a spoiler alert on top though? I like how you didn't say anything about Vander when describing this scene from Powder's perspective. Coz somehow Vander's death or her parents' death didn't affect Powder as much as Vi leaving her. I remember deaths didn't affect me too much when I was a kid...not as much as they affect me now. I dunno what it is, like maybe it's because kids can't relate to adults and adults dying isn't thought of as too tragic...

So, small story. The timing of when I heard this song was impeccable. By the time I heard this track, it had only been 2 days since I just put down one of my two cats, and the other cat was put down only a month earlier.
