Seriously a great guide for intro to Arcane play. So many guides focus on hitting you with what appears a convoluted stream of casts without explaining the basic relationships. (this includes the writers of the main sites such as icy veins who seem to take some knowledge for granted).

Thank you! I leveled as frost but got a bit bored with it so swapped to arcane and then went to study the icy veins guide.. and quickly got overwhelmed and gave up. This is perfect for getting started!

I havnt played in about 6 months but dam just seeing a video on wow sparks this deep seeded ember that apperently is forever embeded deep down in my soul. Somethin about this game allures me so much. This guide is extremely helpful to me and the most straightforward guide on Arcane I’ve seen yet. I just started arcane a few days ago and I’m already learning the phase rotations really fast and having a blast. I’m a resto shaman main and I gravitated toward arcane because I want to take a break to try a DPS class I haven’t played, it looked cool, and it’s a challenge. Do you plain on making an Enhancement Shaman guide? Didn’t see one on the playlist. Thank you again!

I dont know man, having lots of cooldowns and power spells make me feel like a true Mage. And trying to master a rotation is challenging but also so fun. You devote yourself much more. BUT THEN!, a bm hunter does a close damage to me with only pressing 3 keys makes me feel depressed.

So i use a different build without orb barrage and it healivly focuses on arcane missile dmg and getting clearcasting asap it drops the aecane bombardment and extra orb and orb barrage for 2 missile dmg increase and mana gem. But this is a prio dmg build and your overall may be lower but youll be consistent and not at the mercy of orb barrage rng.

Idk what im doin wrong … my dps is underperforming … doin rotation like its explained on mage hub for example .. i see ppl doin 1mio hits .. my highest hit comes by 200K. Max dps is 120k on st. Im 473 ilvl, 36%crit, 48% mastery. I absolutely dont get it 😩😩 And i just wanted to live the dream about big numbers 😅
