Arcane Odyssey, so about the Vetex rant, here's what I have to say [gonna say more in desc]

Honestly Vetex, if ya don't care, show us that ya don't, might as well
Also, ganking exists in this game and it can't be turned off, so yea, ofc people will complain about the pvp's balance and all when you can't even turn off pvp
Just make pvp a toggle and when you have it off you can't gain renown (over 100k at least) and can't get clan infamy, maybe smth else too if I'm missing smth
Sorry for the abrupt ending but gankers ain't my forte, and I thought I had said enough
But here's some more: why do people complain about the speed nerf? Cuz it's a bad nerf! Why would I invest into speed when 646 of it doesn't do anything? I had that much speed while fighting and it's useless bc i can't do anything with it
Again Vetex, people care about the pvp aspect of this game cuz it's the main thing to do in the game after playing it for a long time
Not only that but the PvP mechanics are very cool, yea really, the pvp in this game, as atrocious as it is, is pretty cool overall and people like it, and that is why they want to see it improve
Anyways I don't think I got much else to say other than to also please bring me back my teal aura on paladin, pls just make it a toggle for all vit classes, maybe put it on the awakening info on the info menu or smth, just for looks, not for lore, or make a gamepass for it, I'll pay for it idc but pls TvT
Also for the announcement in the Balance Team discord: You guys are telling to the people who complain to just leave, like... do you want the game to actually drop in players that badly? Yes it's not good to be mad about something and feeding that to other people but we love this game and want it to be better and more balanced on an aspect that people do like

Imo toggling pvp would be best balanced if you couldnt gain renown and what you mentioned the renown limit, got infamy but very slowly so banks can still exist since they help a lot + halve all galleon gains and very slightly nerf drop rates from stuff like bosses and chests to encourage pvp but not make it mandatory.

Born to enjoy the story and explore the world. Forced to be spawncamped due to lacking pvp experience. I prefer how in world of magic pvp is optional. You can run away if you dont want to pvp and theres no way for people to go out of their way to hunt you down. Hunting imo should be changed so it makes it harder to track pvers, while keeping it the same for pvpers. Like if you have a lower kill count per hour of time played, or you never track down players, you get less location updates or a "location unkown" on you, but if you pvp a lot, do lots of hunting etc. you still get accurate location data of you shown. This would discourage hunting pvers, while keeping it the same for pvers and leaderboard.

A better option might be to make pve and pvp more similar. That way the skill between the two translates better, which will make it easier for non pvpers to fend for themselves.

i dont think pvp is a must for this reason: most people i argued with over PvP toggle said something along the lines of "if we had PvP toggle than the great majority of players would have it turned off!!" so, if most of the player base would have it off, doesnt that mean that most of the players would rather chose when to PvP? All the fuzz is about people who do bounties and what not but damn vetex why did you add it in the first place?

@@PLASBEZ yeah, got 2 First, quality of life. Easy enough to understand Second, if vetex adds a pvp toggle, he can then ignore balancing until the game leaves early acces because its not a mandatory feature anymore. So updates will be less of a balance patch every time

@@Zawaito For the time being, we just gotta stick with love potions. Though make sure you use 10 pink apples, they mostly spawn in the cerruno forest. Make sure its a throwable potion since it wont work if its a drinking kind. For the catalyst, use starfishes or sunken elements

Vetex's games, the community already had toxic people and vetex is sorta right, pvp is the only after-game thing for PVP players, not PVE, not all players are dedicated to PVP, just saying.
