On the Arcane Roots spectrum it's like Heaven and Earth meets Melancholial Hymns. Great stuff

Jonathan Mitchell I thought it was just more MH, which is annoying because I found it to be quite a boring album
@Norce5556 жыл бұрын
People always do this "it's like album meets album" when something new is released. Don't really hear what about this song couldn't just be straight off MH.
@jonathanmitchell4206 жыл бұрын
You're right. I could easily. But I felt it had a bit more dynamic between heavy and light that's why I was getting the H&E vibe also.
@seancullen81426 жыл бұрын
@@jonathanmitchell420 Honestly that's pretty accurate. Melancholia Hymns took me by surprise, but when you go back and listen to H&E you kinda notice that it was the obvious direction for them. A lot of the ideas from MH you can find on their earlier stuff too, it's just normally something in the background, rather than being the main focus. The Landslide EP though is phenomenal and inspiring as hell. A perfect blend of all their past accomplishments; definitely a worthy farewell!

Landslide Were you waiting for the people? To rewind us They become to you equal In the dark, in the dark Landslide Will you show them something that they've Never heard of? Will you make them feel the reverence Of your words? Of your words Of your words I feel the floodwaters there Waiting for a moment to heal People run away is your chance But I pray for it What if our Gods are the same? Waiting for something more It's like we're caught in the way Helpless to carry on Don't think I'll ever forget All that I ever saw And all I let carry on
@roryunderwood75846 жыл бұрын
Verse 1 is, Landslide, were you waiting for the people to be worse off? Do they fall unto you equal in the dirt? In the dirt Chorus is, I feel the floodwaters less Waiting for a moment to help Crippled by the weight in your chest But I pray for it Other than that it's right though
