There was so much about the Cait/Vi scene to love…. How Cait was going to be honest and tell her she was with someone else….and Vi giving ZERO fucks because she has her cupcake back. Then Cait is the one who rips her shirt off in front of Vi very aggressively, but then is soft and gentle undoing Vi’s wrapping…and is then CONTINUALLY gentle with her. Gently caressing her, touching her, giggling with her in pure joy because she is FINALLY with who she truly WANTS to be with. And Vi…alternating between being very aggressive with Cait, and then being very gentle with her. Showing Cait that it has basically been her….ALWAYS. Just such a perfect love story for these two. People said that they actually did it in season 1 at some point, but this scene right here is almost irrefutable proof that THIS is their first time. The gentle touches, the way that they look at each others bodies, the happy giggle when fumbling to get undressed....just all so PERFECT!!!! It wasn't about sex...it was about love, trust, letting go, giving in, and intimacy...all the things they NEEDED in that moment with each other, knowing what was about to come. So happy I got my Violyn back.

Caitlyn has always been level headed 😐 and Vi a bit of a knucklehead 😅 Cait figured out Vi long ago and the girl is a naturally emphatic. From the moment she picked the keys 🔑 from the floor and watched Vi's reaction from behind the bar ...Caitlyn was already considered how triggering and traumatizing it could be for Vi. Keeping in mind that Vi was in jail since she was 15 😢for 7yrs, in a mixed population jail. Vi was assaulted almost every night. So when Caitlyn took off her shirt 👕 and was so slow and gentle taking Vi's off --touching her with the tip of her fingers before wrapping her arm around Vi is so poetic. You can tell she was trying not to trigger any bad memory for her ...then Vi pulled Caitlyn towards her...and yeah 😊 ✌ carry on

I honestly think that your reaction to THE SCENE was the essence of what Amanda Overton was aiming for when writing this.🫶 The both people Vi cares most for in her life set her free of the shackles she had put on herself. Allowed for guilt, self blaming and taking responsibilty for literally everything bad that happens to move to second place. Vi is allowed to be happy! For the very first time Vi puts herself and her needs in the first position and hell yeah she "doesn't fucking care!" What a moment! This scene is a piece of art in itself.🧡 Btw notice how Jinx (this ep) and Cait (S1E7) both use "breaking the cycle " as a quote and both do excactly that. By willingly stepping back from the cycle of trying to kill eachother they set Vi free of a situation were she was doomed to always lose. I can hardly imagine the relief Vi must have felt...🥹 And she found a way to thank Caitlyn... As predicted towards Caitlyn in a prison cell in S1E5 and a longtime running joke in the community "Undercity is gonna eat you alive"..😜 Amazing reaction! Thanks a lot.❤❤ Don't you dare making excuses for your accent. It is just lovely...

Imo the whole CaitVi sex scene is the singular most well handled spicy scene in all of digital media that ive ev er seen. On the one hand its really emotional because both of them have been longing for each other for such a long time and they are so mad in love (i caaaaant its so cute 😭) and the other hand its super steemy and hot, full of passion. All while not being very revealing and in a way respectful of their intimacy. I love Fortiche for how classy and tasteful and yet so steaming hot they made this scene. The CaitVi scene was pretty much what I expected short and sweet. It didn’t take up too much time, which honestly worked for me. Arcane always knows how to tell a story, whether it’s through dialogue, music, action, intimate moments. Vi and Caitlyn first met and fell for each other in prison, and that’s also where they had their first time. The show balanced wrapping up their relationship arc, which had been building the whole time, while still pushing the main story forward. It really showed them finally letting go of the guilt and vengeance that had been holding them back and keeping them from being happy. Even though the scene was brief, it totally nailed their emotions the love, the joy of being together, the shyness of their first time, and that sense of emotional release. Placing it before a battle they might not survive made sense. If they’d saved it for ep 9, after all the chaos and loss, it wouldn’t have hit the same. I heard the original scene was longer and more passionate but got edited down for the rating. I think this version worked perfectly for what they wanted to show. If they had extended the scene to 4-5 minutes without lengthening other parts of the story, I would have enjoyed it, but I’d have been a little annoyed with the imbalance in storytelling, no matter how much I love this ship.

According to showrunner Linke, the Cait & Vi scene was originally longer and more explicit, but they got a "slap on the wrist", probably from Riot Games, and had to cut it shorter and cleaner. There was a risk the game could've been banned in some countries. *cough* China *cough* It may get released in a physical media director's cut.

@@spritznar Yes, Elijah and her pure excitement . The other Is TLOU Explained, who just ends up sobbing (her brother's phone message after the episode is also quite good). All three different reactions, but over the same sentiment of what it means for representation for specifically lesbians and sapphics, but also the LGBTQ+ community at large, in addition to just how well it was done. All three reactions are clearly so genuine and from the heart. I'm not sure which one is the best, but they are all priceless.

When I saw the scene for the first time 2 weeks ago, I cried a lot. I cried because I remember how was Vi at the begining of the episode 5 from season 2. It's so beautiful & emotional to see Vi recieve tenderness & sexual love; she finally know happiness since longtime😭😭🥰 Maybe one of the most beautiful & emotional sexual love scene ever; it's not only lewd pervert fan service but wonderful piece of emotions, Cait = the light in the night where Vi got lost. Yeah, “that scene”. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a love scene this much (unless you count the dance scene with alternate Powder and Ekko). And as we as a society seem to feel less and less comfortable with such scenes in live action film (and have unfortunately relegated intimacy to PornHub), it seems clear to me that animation can now provide a medium in which sexuality can be expressed without worrying that live actors are being exploited.

I love your reaction and commentary.❤ I noticed your camera losing focus a few times. With dark hair and a black sweater in a bright white room, the lighting becomes difficult. Even when it's not out of focus, your back wall is sharper than you since compression favors brighter subjects. A bright light source on the desk or front wall will light you more consistently and help with the auto focus. Plus we will get a better look at you and your reactions. Maddie "angry face" at VI when she enters the room kills me and she walks up on her like she was going to do something lol. yea the whole jail cell scene is so much more than just the sexy time. In season 1 cait stood outside the cell and walked off, this time she goes in and joins VI and stands beside her sharing whatever happens since she released jinx. She knew VI being VI would go to jinx and in a sense cait let go of her hate for jinx through VI.
