18:16 I think “This isn’t how it’s supposed to go” just means that Jinx wanted to die in this fight, ideally at Vi’s hands. In S1 it was implied that she’s been suicidal for a while (the bullet hole in her mirror, her trying to blow herself up after her fight with Ekko, her telling Vi “you’re the reason I’m still alive”). Plus the kind of dejected way she said, “I just can’t die” in this very scene. Jinx is deeply, deeply unwell.

I don't think she's actively trying to die, but she *absolutely* doesn't care if she does. Which is why she's so dangerous to everyone, and especially to any kind of stable tension situation; she has a way of sparking any potential conflict up a few notches with no regard for her own safety.

its funny, how that happens multiple times to different people, it happens to viktor at the explosion at the end but the hexcore saves him, it happens to jinx when she basically chose to explode both herself and ekko at the bridge at ep 7 but then shimmer saves her, and then what im assuming is gonna happen, SPOILERS (possibly) RAAAAAAAH: vander still somehow being alive because singed turns him into warwick.

Jinx only reversed the ventilation, it was the upper town that was pushing poison gas to downtown. By the sheer ammount of the explosions we can see how much they pumped down, jinx only added some paint to it but all that toxic gas is the upper town doing.

To be fair they don't pump the gas into the undercity maliciously (until Caitlyn starts chemical warfare). Before the ventilation system all the pollution from both cities just naturally settled in the fissures. They built the vents to pump the bad air further down into lower caves, chambers built to hold the gas, and bring fresh air from the surface (or maybe from the Janna temple idk) Zaun is just as much, if not more at fault for the Grey. Yes Piltover contributes to the problem and doesn't have to deal with it, but they didnt built the vents to pollute the fissures. They built them to remove the Grey from the fissures. Also considering the whole thing is somehow connected down to the Janna temple. I wonder if both cities actually bring fresh air up from the temple, and push the gasses into the even lower parts of the city down beneath even the tents where Victor is.

The factories would all be in Zaun dumping even more toxic waste into the streets than they already were, therefore the ventilation system that the Kiramans had built does the most good for the people in the Undercity. That is, as long as nobody weaponizes it like Caitlyn's taskforce did, or blows it up like Jinx did.

Regardless of the intentions used to create it, its obviously just one of the many another strangleholds Piltover has over Zaun. In the first place, why do they have the infrastructure to dump all the toxic waste and gas in Zaun? Why do they need to build the ventilation system at all? The ventilation system ended up just being another tool of oppression, what Jinx did was not at all the "exact opposite" of its purpose.

Ambessa is doing a great job of manipulating the situation to bring the Piltover and Zaunite factions to more closely reflect the values and methodologies of Noxus for her fight against the Black Rose. She lost her holdings in Noxus, so if she can turn Piltover and Zaun into an army she can use, with the technology they possess, she could give the Black Rose a run for its money in a straight up fight even with the obvious magic deficit she faces against them.

Things I noticed In Ep. 3: 1)There was a pillar showing both of them as kids with a heart joining them. During the fight they crashed thru the pillar breaking it's at the heart representing their shattered relationship. 2) When Caitlyn was made general and everyone was pledging allegiance, the big guy ( who was drinking with VI ) had a concerned look and walked out ), in teasers clips he is drinking with emmo VI, so he also doesn't like the path the path that Caitlyn is headed.

You know, I think even IF Caitlin is guaranteed to take tho shot on Jinx WITHOUT hitting the child, it would probably still be the wrong call (at least in the context of the narrative). Season 1 was in parts about how the cycle of violence needed to be broken and Caitlin herself even says "This city needs healing". Begs the question: is shooting Jinx in front of the Child (Isha?) really THAT different from enforcers killing Jinx and Vi's parents? Anyways, great to see you being so passionate about this series again, three videos in one day is a treat for sure!

Since you mentionned Ekko's nod in the intro. I'd like to point out that his shadows in the intro are also a clock going backward. Overall, the visuals this season have been absolutely incredible. Special mention to Ambessa's body entirely covering Caitlyn when she put the coat on her shoulder, showing who's actually in charge. "If you want to survive in this world, you need to be both the fox and the wolf." - Ambessa Medarda, season 1. Earlier this season, we saw Ambessa fight and tought she was being the wolf, but she was actually being the fox. I shudder at the idea of what she'll do when she actually decides to be the wolf.

2 important characters you should know about who weren't present physically but were there 1- The statue in the underworld you can see in the grey air vent, random people of Zaun praying, and Jinx trap scene,,, that's Jana an ancient and mysterious wind spirit who was praised by both piltover and Zaun's people but now only Zaun. 2- The blood magic scene with Ambessa and Mel was actually Black Rose. The Black Rose is a secretive cabal, very powerful led by the Noxian aristocracy especially "Leblanc". Leblanc is an ancient(thousand years old) powerful witch, dominating and brain-controlling people all around the Runeterra (their world). And Amara isn't the witch she was corrupted by Leblanc.

Yeah I figured it would be Swain that Ambessa was talking about when she mentioned someone killed her son. It's still possible it COULD be Swain, since he has a sort of "frienemy" relationship with LeBlanc, but I definitely wasn't expecting The Black Rose to be involved. So that means there's a chance its actually Vladimir that Ambessa is feuding with and not Swain... it'll be very interesting to see which direction they take it in the next 2 parts.

Well Ambessa has no choice really. If the Black Rose is her family's enemy, then things are dire. The leader of the Black Rose is LeBlanc - more than 1000 years old woman-mage, and this is not known even to the members of the Black Rose. LeBlanc was there when Noxus was first created and she has been gaining power and influence for a long time. She has her copies/clones in the word and can take control when she wants and has infiltrated most countries. LeBlanc is truly one of the most powerful beings in existance. And this is a word where vampires, gods, aspects, darken and more exist....

@@TommyDay-kq1jj We don't know yet. And I wouldn't call Ambessa enemy of LeBlanc - maybe inconvenience or she is being manipulated. If LeBlanc want's Ambessa dead - she would be. So my GUESS is - LeBlanc is manipulating Ambessa into believing she needs Hextech to fight back, so she is using her to get her hands on it.

I think jinx meant it when she said "it had to be you". She probably really intended to die in that fight and ger redirecting the ventilation was supposed to be a final fk you to piltover for using the Grey on the people of zaun. It makes sense too. Jinx isnt evil, shes crazy and she probably cant bring herself to kill Vi who is now helping piltover hunt her down and kill her. She has nothing to live for since she never even really got involved in trying to make things better for Zaun unless it was on Silco's request.

The little girl protecting Jinx 😢 It's frustrating how Vi's telling Jinx that she isn't her sister, especially since in the finale of season 1 she says they'll always be sisters. But, it's like you guys said, Vi can't reconcile that her little sister is responsible for killing so many people. As someone with no knowledge of LoL universe, I've got so many questions! What happened with Jayce, Ekko, Heimerdinger, and Mel? Did they die? I'm assuming the 'Black Rose' is some kind of magic? Also, I've heard theories around what Singind is doing with the wolf, but what the heck is it?!😂

The thing I have a hard time understanding is why Jinx pulled back on her fight with Vi. Jinx has shimmer and we saw how fast she could move when she knocked Cait out at the last ep of S1. Jinx only uses her shimmer powers when Vi physically knocks her down, as if Jinx lost some of her control but she still seems to be holding back. So why would she let Vi beat her around? Becuase she can't beat Vi?

I love Ambessa's character, she's so badass, she sees potential in Caitlyn and she knows she can use that instead of just another puppet which would be easy to control but she knows Cait can actually do something by herself
