And yes, you read that right, "final chapter". Christian Linke, the showrunner confirmed it, this is the end of Jinx and Vi's story, and with that, the final season of Arcane. THOUGH, he also said that there are other projects in the League of Legends universe in the works with Fortiche once again, both in TV AND film. So, most likely a new setting, with new characters with a new name for that project, which is bold seeing how much brand recognition "Arcane" already has. Wouldn't be surprised if they do "A Knives Out Mystery" subtitle thing with the future stuff

One of the showrunners posted on twitter that this is the ending they started the story in mind with, but they are actively working on more future projects with the animation studio, so this may be the end of Arcane, but definitely not the end of stories in this world.

There is literally 168 fully fledged characters in the game that are fully written in and canonical to the world of League. If they continue to succeed, we could unironically see a marvel sized Cinematic Universe growing for the next 10-20. Gonna be unbelievably hard but it's not impossible. they already announced that they are working on both movies and new shows. So here is hoping were looking at the next big thing!!

The reason it doesn't have the typical Netflix ending shenanigans is because it wasn't made by Netflix. It was made by funded by Riot games, and animated by Fortiche Productions. Netflix was only the distributor riot chose to work with but Netflix had no hand Arcane's creation process. Netflix WISHES it could make something this good.

It doesnt sound good right now, but at some point u will realise that Arcane ending with season 2 is the greatest news u will ever get, because along with these news they have indeed announced they are already working on both shows and movies that exists in the same world. Just in case u haven't gotten into the lore of League, (u definitely havent, lol), the world building and stories covering the world is already Marvel sized. there are around 8 characters from League of legends in the original season of aracane, and there are currently a total of 168 fully canonical characters u can play in the game that could easily have their own shows and movies built around them. I say this with no exaggeration but if they continue to churn out good stuff, they could make as many movies and shows as Marvel has to date, with avenger movies and all, with returning characters like Vi, Jinx, Jayce, etc.

They'd be stupid not to have crossovers. What really excites me is the possibility that we might not see Vi again for a long time but when we do, it might be in a project that is set 10 years later(more present time for the lore) and we might get an adult Vi popping up somewhere out of nowhere. Sounds amazing. Or of course any other character in the same way.

I'm happy there's a final chapter for 2 reasons: The netflix sequel bating, but also since its being picked for TV and Films as a league player know what might be done I am very excited. Arcane was surprisingly very grounded in regards on how crazy the world is and how open it is. I could see an Ionian story centered around Yasuo/Yone/Irelia/Karma etc and also can see a movie about Demacia vs Noxus.

Before the explosion Jayce is positioned right next to Viktor meaning Viktor's hexcore limbs could instinctively protect both of them with some sort of shield. I don't think Mel needs to survive because her arc seemed complete with her choosing peace. In my opinion Mel dying would be both thematic and ironic because her death also signifies the death of peace in the region and because of her mother, her death is the cause of the war.

League of Legends exists in a world called Runeterra which has such an amazing lore and so do the characters. CO Creator Christian Linke has already announced that they will be telling more stories from these characters and also working with the same animation studio that gave us this so this was all just the first but with over 140 characters they have a lot to cover so 2 seasons and done makes a lot of sense

For those who liked the Runeterra world so much, guys, trust me , there are SO MANY extremely interesting characters in LOL universe .. many of them much more complex and deep than the entirety of this zaun/piltover . When the first season was announced some people were actually mad that it’s about piltover, because that “area” wasn’t really high on the list of fan favorites , in the show Noxus is getting kinda touched and maybe they gonna take the story to Noxus/Demacia which was way more liked by the game fans. Just so you know , Demacia was ltrly built by 2 sisters and their mom lol. Or if you guys are into Asian culture there is a frkn Ionia with like SOOO MUCH characters and lore going on there .So it’s fine , just be happy that the game got this talented studio to adapt it into animation

Its funny you say Netflix is cutting it short and sweet but Netflix funnily enough has no rights to arcane, its just the streaming platform Riot chose to sign with. it could've been prime or Hulu even Max but the product would've been the same. to my knowledge Netflix had no part in creating or funding the project at all, the boys at riot and their cash cows are the ones that had the reins on the show. The guys Christian Linke and Alex Yee are Riot execs that pushed SO hard for this to become a reality are perfectionists. this was their passion project and it really shows in the work and the people they invited to the team. all hands-on deck had something to prove, and I hope they can continue to show the world how amazing Runeterra is. Ps all info stated in my comment can be found in their documentary bridging the rift on KZbin. that's how I found out Netflix didn't do shit for this project except contract them to allow it to stream on their app.

Victor is hidden in the trailer. You can see him at 0:57 of the trailer. Its a quick flash hidden behind the attack sevika makes against the chem baron, but you can see him casting some kind of magic. You can tell its him by the transformed arm and his distinct cane. :D That little Headwiggle in the Warwick animation that lets him seem like a dog thats shaking off water or something is sooo wonderfully creepy

Arcane did what the best super hero movies and shows did. They made a good show. Not a video game show that is good, but a show that is good regardless of prior knowledge. That is such a rare thing, because that can make fans angry and if they do too much for the fans they leave everyone else confused. It is such a delicate balance and they nailed it. If they don't fumble the ball they will have a perfect show. I like that they are ending it after 2 seasons. Just like Shogun ended after 1. They actually give themselves a chance to keep the project pure rather than watering it down because of greed.

Vi and Jinx story from Sisters to Mortal Enemy is the end of their story but not the end of the League of Legends Universe. If they're making another story I would want it to be an Annie story because that would be crazy and we get to see the Noxian civilization when they do it since Annie has been recruited to a Noxian school for special powered kids where she get to have friends but ended up burning the whole institution. It's gonna be tragic. 😂😂😂

The Dishonored game series is really good. That same studio made the game Prey. Those two games are the spiritual successor of the Bioshock series. If you ever get back to doing watch along of game stories, I’m very excited to see Achara’s reaction to the Bioshock series, especially Bioshock Infinite. You do need to find a good edit for those. A lot of good story details are in optional audio logs through the game.

i think first few eps will be the war between upper and under cities but without silco the undercity will loose and will be completely under rule of the uppercity and then we will have a time jump where we will see that the new council is even more horrible than last one and instead of developing zaun they have made it even worse for people down there and viktor who has became some sort of cyborg will now free the undercity with the help of vi cait jinx sevika and rest of the silcos goons. the second half of the show will focus on Jayce vs Viktor i think because the show uses siblings to enemies dynamic alot like silco / vander and jinx / vi

It's a very rich world to play in so I get their desire to move on. I got the Realms of Runeterra book and it's a hell of world. Have no knowledge of the game but the verse is a rich canvas.

I'm actually super stoked that they were ballsy enough to end Arcane here. To not give into pressure to extend the story beyond where they wanted it to go. I love the characters too much to see them get whittled away into compromised quality.

Yes animation wise dishonoured is the closest to this animation, although that game is more gameplay-driven than story. But if the script writers can make the story more layered and with this kind of animation, it would definitely be a good adaptation
