Finished edgerunners yesterday and it’s easily one of the best animated series on Netflix. With that being said arcane is a far better show.

Nah lol, they’re about equal all things considered. Main thing that makes people subconsciously think differently is cause they had more time in Arcane. For those who’ve had the world and surrounding things built up by the expanded universe (game and novel stuff mostly) Edgerunners easily has enough

@@DavidHosey1 lmao I stand by what I said. Arcane is simple just a masterpiece in my eyes. Also, I’ve never once played or even watched gameplay for both franchises. Arcane when it comes to animation, it stands FAR above anything else. When it comes to voice acting it’s more compelling and capturing. When it comes to its characters it has well fleshed out interactions that cyberpunk lacks in comparison. Arcane is a genre pusher while cyberpunk is a breath of fresh air.

Correct if we’re just comparing the shows, incorrect if you take the rest of the Cyberpunk universe into context. They’re both 9’s or 10’s easily on their own, but giving Arcane the context of League does little more than spoil who’s gonna live. Giving Edgerunners the Cyberpunk context is just next level

Nah Cyberpunk as an overall universe (including the game, show, tabletop, novels, comics, etc.) is one of if not the best in the cyberpunk genre once you really get into it. Arcane is probably better as a self-contained show, but overall it has to go to Edgerunners with context

ER is mid. I'm sorry I never player cyberpunk and I felt information goes everywhere and nothing attaches me to it. I dropped it ep 8 or 9 cuz it was just boring. if I wanted a futuristic anime I would go watch 86 or Gundam 00.
