Arcanine ex is living proof that you shouldn't always just listen to what people say. It slowly became one of the most meta decks out there, even placing higher than Charizard ex decks. I'd like to brag too, because I used Arcanine ex before it was popular and I instantly saw the potential in it. I really liked how I didn't have to constantly spoon feed it energy like I would have had to with Charizard ex. This allowed me to put energy on my other bench pokemon, allowing me to pivot my pokemon as needed.

That's why I like Mewtwo ex so much. I kind of regret building Pikachu ex tbh. Because we are already starting to see the slow downf of that deck. Mewtwo is beginning to place higher in tournaments now. I believe that if Mewtwo and the other meta decks weren't gatekeeping some of the lower tier decks like Wheezing, Arbok, Melmetal and stuff then the Pikachu ex decks would sigi drop in terms of win rate. From my experience, Pikachu ex is only good against slow decks. If you have another deck that is just as fast, or almost as fast then it's pretty much gonna lose because it doesn't have the HP to take hits and it only does 90 damage per turn.

I think people just look at a card that damages itself and think that means it's not good. It's similar to one of the main reasons why people rarely used Injection Fairy Lily in the early days of Yu-Gi-Oh, despite how powerful it was.

Yes dont use Amber. Just use an other base pokemon that is useful for your Team. Amber is always a waste. Any bade pokemon that u just want to use as a tank u can use instead

@@tanjiro7241You will always draw at least 1 basic pokemon, so using fossils instead will allow you to discard them instead of using energy to retreat, as well as not take up your initial pokemon slot

Absolutely not. The entire point is to sac them/ keep them on bench for emergencies and discard them if you get something to fill the slot. While still having the ability to evolve them. If they didnt give points, they would actually be broken
