I did this with a mage back in the day because teleport saves time. Went on another run with a tech character and apparently even the gods couldn't overcome my tech aptitude once I stepped on the final altar. If I remember correctly, you can circle back and get the 3 greater blessings for doing them im the correct order on top of Velorian, correct?

1.what was your tech aptitude at when you tried it? Did it fail or was it that you couldn't be resurrected? Never tried going back to get blessing on top of Velorian, but would be interesting if it stacks

@@jessesgamereviewstipsandst5517 100, went full ham on tech for that guy, I had done all the circles correctly becasue the had the lesser, medium, and greater blessing, I just assume my tech aptitude was so high the spell failed. It's been a long time but I swear you could go back and get the lesser/inter/greater blessings again so long as you followed the right order. Test it out, might make a good video if you can.

I noticed that your magickal aptitude remained at 100, but isn't firearms a tech skill? Did you get around the aptitude change in some way or does it not count because the skill increase was not obtained by character points? Thanks for the guide!

In this video I believe this was a Harms mage build(ability to teleport so I can get to each location faster ) that I used to showcase the locations of all the altars for the blessings . If you are a firearms build, you would still be able to obtain the Velorian blessing but would be walking towards each altar locations and should not be leveling your magic aptitude since it negatively affects your attack rating when using tech gears such as firearms. I had created this video to showcase the location of the alter and had probably reference this video when I had created my OP Gun build so viewers can get the location of alters/order.

So if I'm building a melee character and I'm trying to optimize the character, does that mean I can't go over 16 DX, 2 Melee and 2 Dodge before getting the blessing?

if your primary build is for melee you can already get your dex to 20 very early if your willing to put 1 point into the agility of fire spell. It adds +4 to dex and you can stack it twice since most characters has enough int to allow you to cast and maintain 2 buffs. If your not willing to use that 1 point theres plenty of items that can boost your dex, one is the gloves you can buy from Ashbury from the elf outside right before the docks or you can get an tech allie tp craft you some charged rings

The order that it is in the video would give you the blessing at least in the unofficial patch. Make sure you didn't get previous blessings before trying these order or it could have not worked. I did these using new characters and have been successful wither 2 other characters as well.

Velorien only resurrects mages. For tech you need to have Reanimator on your companion. Or you can just sacrifice companion instead
