You remind me of my old boss, but about 25-30 years younger. He hired me when I was green. He was tough to work for at times, but he taught me a lot and made me a true pipeliner.

@@BMGProjects I think those that end up learning how to work hard, usually have someone that they worked for at some point that were hard to work for, but learned a lot from them. I know I had mine. It has its moments, but when those times are behind you and you look back on it, you realize how those times in your life helped shape you into the person you are today. Maybe a tip from an interested viewer. As long as you do not have access to a fixture welding table, you can still drill a number of (e.g. 5) holes in the center of your current welding table with a diameter that is suitable for the standard welding table clamps. This way you can easily secure the various workpieces. Greetings from the Netherlands, please continue making these videos.

Nice that ArcCaptain did that! When I bought a YesWelder 2 years ago the first one they sent me, was a dud right out of the box. After a few emails, and they sent me another one free of charge. So it’s really cool to see both companies honoring their warranties! I also have ArcCaptain’s TIG 200. Really cool little HF welder for my first attempt at TIG welding. And I appreciate your full transparency with us! There’s not a lot of people who would have the guts, to post videos of the mistakes they have made. Nicely well done Sir!

Dude that would scare the crap out of me! Good on Arccaptain for making that right. Im really impressed with my Arccaptain Mig 145. I got it for a very specific purpose and it works great. It even tig welds pretty good.

You don't need a fixture table but about 2 dozen 5/8" holes would make a huge difference in clamping work pieces down.

@@Freedomfabrication777fireball tool makes a jig setup you clamp to your table and move it around it’s like a alignment flat bar with holes in it that allows you to drill your own holes in your table to make it a fixture table and it’ll be pretty accurate 2” on centers guess you would want to use a mag drill one option. Fixture tables definitely not needed we made one about a year ago and there is definitely benefits of having it though but definitely not needed great video 👍

@@SFS13-01 I believe I timed it and it was around 10 seconds. I would say it’s better practice to just watch the screen make sure it turns off before switching voltages. Thanks for watching!

A problem I see with that machine is the location of the pressure regulator and moisture trap. If it gets hit hard or bumped , any moisture in the trap potentially spraying all over the power points in there. Other than that nice little machine.
