Thanks for the presentation. Very useful to extend Experience Builder. Now I just have to make some widget code 😊

Great video, I have a question. How can I connect added Map in Map layers with my custom widget. I would like to program reactions for clicking on the map so that this information goes straight to the widget.

Thank you for your compliment, @aqua1513! To answer your question, you may need to publish a message from your custom widget that the Map widget can react to in the Map widget's Message action settings. See developers.arcgis.com/experience-builder/api-reference/jimu-core/MessageType/ for message types and developers.arcgis.com/experience-builder/guide/widget-communication/ for documentation of workflows on widget communication. Let us know how it goes!

I believe exb is a great tool for speeding up gis web development. On the other side, to take advantage from the developer edition, react and typescript are mandatory. Nothing to say about these technologies, but it is not a given that a person who develops gis applications knows them and learning them, often, requires an investment a bit too big when the focus is placed first on gis and only secondarily on growing programming skills. In short, it would be nice to be *also* able to create custom widgets using vanilla js, html and css.
