ArcGIS Parcel Fabric Editing (Using Control Points)

In this video we discuss how to use parcel fabric control points that you obtain from a plat of survey or other documentation to adjust your parcels within the fabric. We will add the control points to the fabric, create a join with existing fabric points, and spatially adjust the fabric to match the newly created points. oh wow !! I absolutely loved your video and wondered how you could kind of cram the data or use survey leaps and bounds to draw out plats of surveys. Eventhough you didn't "fudge" data you used control points which can be in a legal suvey! so cool! i started in school for accounting, then got pregant and had a difficult birth( not revelent) and ended up loving the GIS student intern job i lucked into. Would love to get another one. So I was GIS vids on youtube! Great Info here!!!

sir, how i start parcel fabric from beginning. if i have only outer-boundary i want to create parcel with 500m2 of area.

Dear Mr. Jon, Thank you for your lessons in youtube . If you do not mind , I have inquiry, in the attachment you will find image , which explain the parcels blocks & roads. The width of roads is ( 10)m , if we want to change it to ( 15)m , without change the width of the ( parcels blocks ), what is the best & fast way to do that ? is there any tool help to shift these polygons & keep them in the same uniformity ( the horizontal & vertical distances are 15 m) . I'm not sure you are using the parcel fabric correctly. Are you documenting existing parcels or laying out new parcels? If so, the parcel fabric is not intended to be used as a planning tool. Its purpose is to document existing parcels with control points. For new design or layout, I would recommend another software package such as CAD, civil design, or land development software.
