Lyrics for those who have trouble keeping up with the video: Torn from home Sent down death's railroad are we When we wake up tomorrow Will we still be wearing this curse? Will we wake up tomorrow? Which punishment is worse? Day one: No sun Stripped of our names Now we are merely numbers Permanently inked in the flames Our kind Our existence lights the fire Igniting hell on earth Archangels bending crosses hooked Innocent men, women, children Sentenced before conviction With golden stars to guide them Their gavel is the end of a gun Day two: Lived through More culprits arrive Every cage so crowded How will we survive through the night? Our kind Our existence lights the fire Igniting hell on earth Archangels bending crosses Hooked First day in hell First day in hell See the terror in abandoned gazes Fear sunken eyes Get the guards and walk a dozen paces Saturnine First day in hell Incarcerated without reason Doomed by blood Anti-venom for a poisoned nation Our birth right Week five: Alive Soon out of time After all that I've here witnessed There's no value in life Our kind Our existence lights the fire Igniting hell on earth Archangels bending crosses Hooked First day in hell First week in hell See the terror in abandoned gazes Fear sunken eyes Get the guards and walk a dozen paces Saturnine First month in hell Incarcerated without reason Doomed by blood Anti-venom for a poisoned nation Our birth right Last day in hell

Mainstream media hasn't ever caught on. They have a "sex sells" formula they've adhered to since the beginning of the MTV age and they have never deviated. Look at the music industry these days, the AMAs for instance. Almost every person lauded was a "performer" not a musician. Yet they're being heralded for their musicianship. It is the way of the modern age I'm afraid.

Thank you for bringing us the lyrics video of an amazing Arch Enemy song. I should though confess that it was difficult to keep up with the lyrics. They are a little late and the random animations do no good at making it easier to follow. I think that it makes more sense to keep it simple, we only look for the lyrics, nothing more. Thanks again and keep rocking 🤘

Sometimes I start singing Instinct's chorus in this song, they're so similar. They used a lot of old stuff in this album, almost every song reminds me of another song from their early years with Angela or even War Eternal. This song in particular is very similar to Instinct from Anthems of Rebellion.
@GoodDealington7 жыл бұрын
You can say that about their entire catalog tbh. They play it too safe these days. Reason to Believe was a step in the right direction, in terms of creativity. I hope they let Loomis write some shit, as well as let Alissa sing more. They have so much potential.

Hell is a real place, a lake of fire. Where many people will spend eternity weeping - crying - wailing - gnashing their teeth - the smoke of their torment rising up forever & ever - indescribable torment in flames. You dont have to go there, ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and go to Heaven. He loves you very much, He will hear your hearts cry, He will help you every day in this life and afterwards take you to Heaven for eternity. No more suffering, pain, tears or death in Heaven

a burning lake as an Image of Hell is brought up by the catholic chruch,, not by any religion. It was just a way to scare people and to buy indulgences so they dont end in hell.

I grew up in the Catholic Church. Hell is a real place, a place of eternal torment and suffering. Gods Son paid the penalty when He was nailed to a tree for our sins. He loves you Jan very much He is knocking on the door of your heart.He would only do you good and no harm all the days of your life. He will hear your hearts cry. He is the answer. He truly cares. He is the only one that can do anything about it. He will never fail you. He heals broken hearts & broken lives. I am praying that you will soon know His great love for you. He made you, He gave you as an individual particular gifts. Call on Him today, invite Him in, ask His forgiveness. The Holy Spirit will come to you immediatley, and you will know. He will give you a brand new life. He wants to give you the desires of your heart. Thank you for listening. Scott
