It was fun to fight this monster but it gets boring real quick... I'll try go for Sub 6 and call it, this monster isn't really a good CB matchup

It is obnoxiously fast yes, i went for a tcs and it literally did 2 full combos before i finished even with the slinger burst shortcut (for GS)

Even not one NPC that has comment to us on start and end of hunt of AT Velk. If you remember on AT Nerg ,Commander will comment at the start AND end of hunt as proper send off from base game. I have a thought that Capcom still have some surprise on 3rd Anniversary as a proper Iceborne send off before going continue to MH Rise such as AT Shara(where the Velkhana Gamma skill will shine because Shara weak to Ice) and maybe AT Safi(Pure Dracolite still not appear on game when Astral Melding Ticket and Giant Dragonvein Coal already made appearance)

Hey I was wondering if it’s a Mod that your Palico only uses the cheer horn and not the other annoying tools especially the gong (always messes up my combos) , if so dam PC has all the comforts .. nice run BTW keep up the good work .

Not a mod. You also have to remember that HC runs for hours on end. Hundreds of tries.

I have thousands of hours on this game , I’ve seen other people use the mod (if it is a mod) so I’m like 90% sure it’s a mod like deva in his double mighty muscle monkey it shows only the cheer horn in his beginning clips then after ward on his real run it shows all three ? You see where I’m getting at ? I’m mean I’m not hating or nothing I’m just saying that’s bad ass I wish I could do that on Ps4 .

Capcom with their 2 iq brains kept making the monsters incredibly fast with nonexistent punish windows, what they don't realize is this straight up makes some weapons unviable. High maintenance weapons like CB eat shit, and you can't play GS without frostcraft against Fatalis or this guy unless you're a speedrunner or some shit.

Answer this: I made the same exact build as you, HCZS, and my dmg is nowhere near yours, why ??? The only other source of dmg not shown here is food buff Attack L, which cannot account for such a big dmg difference. You deal ~700 dmg on tenderized head with AED II (second axe rotary swing) when Velk is down. I deal about 350-400, WHY ??????????? This really looks like BS.. I'm beginning to think speedrunners are not telling us the truth. BTW - I copied builds for different weapons and NEVER achieved similar damage. The dmg dicrepancy was huge, not minimal. With one exception only - melee Gunlance, God knows why.

bruh... evasion mantle+atk song buff+felyne booster evasion mantle+atk song buff=50% dmg increase and felyne booster gives 10 more true raw instead of putting on a tinfoil hat first, pls watch the video, also there are already FASTER runs on KZbin with heroics builds that do even more damage than this....

@@mikethespikepl well thank u but dude ur comment came off way too strong so i took it as an accusation of cheating. Also, if u enrage velkhana u do 20% more dmg and even more if u break the head whilst it's still tenderized. Unarmored and scarred head is a better hitzone.

I always try to get the monster as soft and broken as possible, get all the buffs (except Orchestra, barely use that), etc. And? Zilch. it's just very irritating to see it constantly... Not sure how to move my dmg up...

@@mikethespikepl if you're on pc theres a mod that can help guarantee atk song buffs on cat rng but if ur against that kinda mod just stick with whatever, also try evasion mantle
