Of course it's ridiculous. Everybody knows that North Africa is not in Africa so why would they be African or so called black,, even in antiquity. 😂 Mam, no human is black nor white. Just saying

So Carthage was in Africa at a time that North Africa was still Black, Hannibal used African elephants to help his military but it is being inferred that he was not African. REALLY?????

There has always been a distinct genetic difference in north African tribes and sub saharan African tribes... Carthage was not black, and Hannibal was certainly not black either... one of the earliest known documents of outsiders exploring sub saharan africa comes from Carthage... Hanno the Navigator took an expedition south west from the Mediterranean around the horn of africa and into the coastal areas and inlets of west Africa. They noted the distinct differences between the indigenous black sub saharan Africans and themselves... This was all done hundreds of years before Hannibal's time... The surviving greek parchment describing Hanno's expedition is one of the few surviving artifacts from ancient Carthage... The Sahel is a huge natural barrier, historically dividing sub saharan africa from the Mediterranean... thousands of years ago, it would have been nearly impossible for sub saharan Africans to traverse, and only manageable by tribes who domesticated the horse, or bypassed altogether by those who possessed advanced shipbuilding and seafaring as staples of their culture... Those were not common of ancient sub saharan african tribes, who were mainly hunter gatherers, similar to how the mesoamerican tribes were before the seafaring, horse riding spanish landed in their territory...

@@orderofthedragon3109 The Egyptians described their origins, near the blue nile and white Nile. Look at your map and see where that is in Africa. Additionally, the present people who occupy Egypt invaded in around 638 A.D. I don't understand why you people go allll out of you way to prove that Africa wasn't African in earlier times. You probably also think that the European Jews in Israel are the descendants of the biblical jews. sic

I am so tired of this, North Africans aren't black and were never black. There was an important black population mostly in Egypt but ancient Egyptian rulers especially were not black.

@@salmanagazi2262 Please Mr. Get The F on. The Egyptians described their origins, from near the blue nile and the white Nile. Look at a map. The people of Khemet/Egypt came from inner Africa up to northern Africa. You see must be of European descent. Because only that type of "human-kind", not human, would say what you're saying. The Arabs, who presently occupy the land arrived in around 638 A.D. Finally, can I remind you of 2 things. Africa is still, to the present day, the land of the BLACKS and 2 Egypt is in still Africa, not northeast Africa/the so called middle east. So to be honest you're being sorta idiotic

@@scottdellrobinson I am a native North African and guess what? I am not black. Africa is an ethnically diverse continent, rich with different cultures and people. So please, I am begging you stop spewing your uneducated opinions about our land online, stop assuming people's ethnicities and stop spreading hate towards people ("human-kind", really ?) I can only hope you are not from this land, we do not claim your ignorance and hatred.
