Hello everyone and welcome back to Age of Wonders 4! Today, the Lord of the End Times welcomes an old friend who shares in his grand vision of destruction: Iratus, The Lord of the Dead. Archaon is given an unexpected surprise at 8:00 that changes the scope of the battlefield, embraces the Bloodlust of Khorne at 15:32, gets caught off-guard at 29:10, personally puts Isgrimm in the ground at 51:51, enacts the Great Plan of Tzeentch at 1:22:43, before finally fielding the Master of Magehaven at 1:26:50 who makes his way to secure the Teleporter Scheme at 1:40:27. The reason why the attacking units of yellow AI are so wounded, is that he is using units that fled earlier battles, before they have time to heal up. Units that have fled always have only 1 hp and they appear in the nearest city to the battle they fled from, not always in the throne city.

Inflict wet is actually quite good on lightning and frost orbs, as it has a high chance to work on the first attack, and such lowering lightning and frost resistance with 4, such greatly increase damage on the following attacks (it is also decent on other repeating frost and lightning weapons as long as the frost/lightning part of their damage is high)

Given the fact that you can use insane amounts of mana in battles with your settings, I think the materium upgrade that give +10 mana from mines will be worth it (you can get plenty of extra mines with outposts) It is pretty cheap after all...

The Lord of the Dead and The Lord of the End times, what a dream team or I guess nightmare team is more accurate! Great episode, I love that you still have a challenge! The Choas units look 🤬 AWESOME! and I hope Iratus gets another campaign soon! From what I remember I think Blint (of course it was Blint lol) won that campaign and technically Iratus was his ally so kinda came in second. That feels wrong 😅.

Iratus+Archaon is definitely the Stranger's greatest nightmare made manifest. Iratus will definitely get another campaign, but it'll probably be after the next DLC. I have some ideas depending on what Primal Fury is actually all about. (:

One thing you should definitely be doing is utilizing outposts more. They're pretty big when playing as a Barbarian and with the Ritual of Alacrity. Can found them all over Mana Nodes and Gold Nodes to cancel the upkeep costs of having the outpost/teleporter too.

You're definitely right, and it's doubly as important for Chosen Destroyer/Megacity. I started plopping down a few more with my scouts but I definitely forgot Ritual of Alacrity was a thing. XD

Just a random suggestion, but I think it’d be cool to mimic/recreate the hunt of the treasures of chaos! Since you’ve got the item forge, you could give Archaon his Big Lore Items like the Eye of Sheerian and the Armour of Morkar- maybe whenever you banish/slay an NPC? Regardless, loving the series! It’s the first of your playthroughs that I’ve managed to watch live, and it’s been a great experience so far!

Sure, that sounds like a lot of fun! I already planned to make The Kingslayer but I have to collect more Magical Materials before I can get something worthy of being a Chaos Artifact. (:

It is unfortunate that Grandfather Nurgle is absent; unfortunately, Timber has announced that they currently do not have time to create more mods. I imagine that a lot of modders may be waiting until after Eldritch Realms when the updates are presumably going to slow down.

If you go with inflict distracted on a repeating weapon, you can combine it with a ring with flanker for more damage

Nurgle's sword, Khorne's boots, Tzeentch should have a helmet, for the mind games, and Slaanesh should have pants, for obvious reasons.

I have plans for a special helmet but I'm missing a Magical Material still. :| I'm definitely making Slaaneshi pants though.

Not sure if you figured it out as this is an older video. Hero leading an expedition in an ancient wonder get resurgence regardless of settings. It says somewhere when you hover as you enter.
