She used to be spotted on the beaches of Malindi in the 90s with Flavio Briatore.... And she kept going back and became one with the locals. Fell in love with Kenya and Kenya fell in love with her. Eventually she bought land and built this gem. Malindi is a sleepy natural seaside village/town on the Kenyan coast away from the more touristy Mombasa, which is why Naomi is so comfortable there. No one bothers her. It's dreamy with its mix of not only African; but Italian, Arabic and Indian cultural influences . All the cultures that found themselves on those shores through the centuries. I lived in Kenya for 10 years and my brothers baby's mother is from Malindi. When we went to visit her home I remember already being an adoring fan of Naomi Campbell; my treasured collection of Vogues were those she was in the pages of, which was every Vogue lol. When I heard the stories of how she's always there in Malindi, on the beach freely or in the markets I remember stalking the beaches and markets hoping to get a glimpse of one of the most beautiful women in the world. I was 18 years old.

That’s because they paid her millions to do so, she doesn’t do it out of the kindness of her heart. She has worn blood diamonds and dated people who have done bad things to Africa. Also, this is a hotel, not her house. She lied to AD and the public lol, and this episode was later exposed. Everything she says in this video is a lie. @d26s103 жыл бұрын
Anything that dries you out will cause wrinkles. Look what happens to a plant when you don’t water it...it droops, shrivels up and goes brown. To keep your skin plump and line free you need to stay hydrated, minimise sun exposure (the right amount of vitamin D is fine, don’t overdo it), keep your body lubricated from the inside by eating lots of good fats: avocado, olives, coconut oil, egg yolks, oily fish and as soon as you dry off after a shower, slather your skin in moisturiser. Having a good skin barrier will minimise water loss and stop you drying out. Dryness causes wrinkles is all you need to remember.

If you do plastic surgery in America you get RIP off by paying 100x the price plus you end up looking like a clown. No Americas get the best education. The best goes to foreign students who pays. It's almost as if the place got leased to make the video, which I don't hate, but that's what it looks like. Other than those few art pieces whose creator she mentioned is a teacher and whom she's met, so it's difficult to forget them, EVERYTHING else in this home of hers is pretty much turnkey. She found all of it already situated when she acquired the place and just started to live in it. I'll give you an example, that first table that she described as, "one-piece," unless we are just going to completely ignore what words mean, is actually NOT one-piece. It's a beautifully crafted table made from multiple pieces of lumber like most tables are, so that is, exhibit-A, somebody who does not know what they're talking about, but they do a good job of being confident and looking like they know what they're talking about when they are in front of people who know even less than them.

Yeah... I've noticed that a lot of people in Kenya are a little too mesmerized by whites smh. 😩
@nightnyungwe59453 жыл бұрын
@@momo-cchi5978 It was not a race issue but an argument over the distribution of a high profile opportunity. I personally support Naomi's appointment as brand ambassador and many of her initial detractors have since come around. There is a growing understanding of the complexities of marketing Kenya as a tourism and investment destination. Lastly, it is not true that "a lot of people in Kenya are a little too mesmerized by whites." There is a reason why the country no longer flies the Union Jack. The Brits did not leave because they were asked to do so. They had to be forced out. Please don't attack a very diverse country with such a complex past and present so casually. Make time to study and understand it.

Instead of living like kings there, rich black folk should invest in the local infrastructure instead. They could actually make a change. But they don't care about Africa or its people. They just care about themselves. And don't come at me with charity. Trillions have been donated to africa via charity and nothing happened.

@@direct2397 it's not the responsability of rich locals to develop infrastructure but their corrupt government. Don't blame the rich for owning beautiful homes when they contribute to the local economy by creating and providing jobs.
@nightnyungwe59453 жыл бұрын
@@direct2397 The Kenyan government is investing in local infrastructure. Have you ever been to Kenya? Can you even compare the infrastructure in place today with that which was in place just 10-15 years ago? There is a general perception that the continent is nothing but a vast mass of land on which nothing happens. Lots of people generally lack a more nuanced understanding of the continent, country by country, city by city, town by town etc. over a period of time.
@direct23973 жыл бұрын
@@nightnyungwe5945 i'm not talking about the local goverment. I'm talking about famous celebs who sit on millions who could actually make a change. And don't fool me. Kenya is still far away from being a good place to live. Very far.
