I love the way she described her home. She spoke like an actual designer. She did focused on the Architectural & Interior Design aspects of it which is what this channel is all about. Her home gives away much of her personality. A lot of monastic elements which leads me to believe she is a very deep thinker and loves her solitude. Having walls that bare is common in a lot of Monasteries in Europe. The emptiness or lack of color, keep one from being distracted from exercise of contemplation. The overall design is neither Masculine or Feminine. The mono-tone feature let's the individual be the color and the home the canvas. A constantly evolving art.

But the concrete display reveals the discomforting things in life a reminder of hardship which requires also standing alone turning your attention inward to find answers retreat to what is more spiritual and both feelings exist in her as in a need to control and balance her inner fire ...The house says and speaks a lot of her indeed more than any words could ever say. Do you think? I can't see any evidence that someone lives there. Nothing hung on the wall. No bookcase. Nothing personal. Not homely just set up by a designer. The 10 other rooms would need to be seen as she just points to props and recites a story.

Nirav Jhaveri - she seems to love architecture at least. Not sure why all of the criticism on the concrete walls is about. The fair- faced concrete walls, made famous by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando, further reflects her love for Japanese architecture, old (the garden) and new (the concrete and bamboo walls).
