I'm really confused about the gear in this game, because i dropped tons of gear that are much better than the awakening gear, why? should I continue use the starter gear instead of gear i dropped? it's confusing me as hell.

@@adrjjanhunter7946 the gear gains stats as it levels and you have the option to reroll the stats on there to tailor your stats to your chars requirements and if you're not lucky with your stat rerolls you can break down the items and recraft them until you get your preferred stats but this can only be done up until you upgrade to the hiram version of the gear. hope this clears it up a bit

I think it's important to give a brief warning to people when referring to quest infusions scrolls / cleaning inventory space or before upgrading to hiram, that's where the character destroying mistakes happen.

Playing tank on this game really pays off. Just got my gear to celestial, now playing nightcloak to cc enemies to oblivion while my party kills it.

Well now, a pay game insteed of subscription. As a player from relaese -14 from the free version all I see last 2 years is that the game was dying. I had basicly stoped playing when hiram gear finally came. Even the subsription is gone, there will be some things that will not change. -making money reliable, -The tedious grinding that need to be done for surtain itmes (mainly Dream Ring or Great Ayanad Earring), -The toxic community (the game has never been able to get rid of it). If this is mostly a port-over you'll still see the same classes everywhere with the few snowflakes here and there. Some tips; -Use battlepets (as they provide a solid partnership, though do not forget to put armor on it), -Best way to level up is through labour crafting, -Find a guild (I can't even begin on how important it is to have people to do end content/dungeons), -You can change class at any given time (you still need to level up the different classes) (If you go for a healing build, you can kiss your dps good bye as you need an alt/dps buddie. Trust me that's me), -UI (this is not very complex itself, but has a ton of important stuff, as I know Wide mode is the only good viewing mode, as good as everybody taking away their own name, always show all shortbars (you are going to have alot of keybinds), be prepared to have a mouse with alot of buttons if you are skilled player (since you will be using more then 1weapond(skills on them), gear (earrings/shields etc built-in skills), you want to have consumables aso, -be sure you configure the chat-bar to your liking (you can have up to 8 different tabs)(don't cluder up the whole left screen like I do), -House (I can't tell enaugh how much farming/gathering you are going to do for you gear/consumable)(farmers-thatchhouse way to go), -You can't disregard PvP (you can avoid it beeing in safe-zones but if you want to quest/grinding you'll encounter it), -Max out your inventory space (both player and warehouse, if you going after making money or gear building you will quickly learn that 300 open slots is nothing and you need more), -Do NOT socket any gear unless you intend to keep the gear (unnecessary gold spent, both puting them in and then items on getting them out again). So if you don't like spending 5-8 months to grind up to a single item (Great Ayanad Earring/Dream ring) you are not going to have a good time playing this game. However if you find a great set of people you are going to have a blast while getting better.

This is such a fail comment. AA:U is immensely popular at the moment. Way moreso than PoE and Lost Ark (which hasn't even had a western release yet). Also, if he's enjoying the game, how is it a waste of time? Instead of critcising him due to him not providing the content YOU want, don't watch the video. Simple.

@Venom You know that Archeage has its own launcher and only became available on Steam during mid October right? Majority of players preordered and don't have it on Steam.
