Nice job guys. I'm Dave, the original designer of Arched Cabins. Our houses were designed for folks just like you. A fast, affordable, quality home that will be there in 100 years. Way to go.

Hi Dave, We purchased a building lot last week and hope to build (2) arched cabin units. Is the Cypress office on vacation? We are having no luck reaching Josh. Thanks!

Were the arches engineered from the factory to be able to sustain a loft loading?

Nice work! Would you say that installing the cut 2x4 along the metal ribs was necessary? Thought you could tie right into the steel ribs, no? Or did you do it this way to help with hanging drywall?

Looks great so far! What size arched cabin did you go with? Is the arched cabin framing 2x2 or 4x4 square tubing?

What kind of wood and lumber cut did you use for the loft floor?

Why cantilever the floor? Why not just have the support beam directly under the arch structure instead of putting the load on a rim joist. Are the steel arches designed to take the loft load or are people just assuming that the steel will support it.
