It’s so fun to see you guys sitting around joking while looking at those INCREDIBLE rocks and arrow heads, and “chips” 😂. Makes me feel like I’m there and also wish I could be there.

I’m going to go explore some of the areas within 20-30 miles of the ranch soon. Looking forward to spending a few days out of the city.

Abalone shells were used in ceremonies as well. Sea shells when knapped right are very sharp.

What I have seen in SW Colorado you do not see colorful arrowheads. The really small ones I was told for birdshot. I have found some of those.

If I could come out when the temperature and weather were mild, I'd love to be able to learn and explore the area for artifacts

Me too. I want to go and meditate, lol even though it's something I've never done. I would love to try, alongside Carl and crew. Would be fun to be there when Chris Lehto visits. I find this place so fascinating.

Carl, I’m a loyal fan. Please find a way to get people miked properly because your voice obscures everyone, Jeff and Guests fade in and out with important information. If I turn it up enough to hear the others your wonderful voice blasts my brain. It’s just hard to follow. Love ya, Man.

Great episode. Some advice for Carl, bring both backpack zippers down to one side, if you put both zippers up top, it will open and loose your stuff, ask me how I know. 😀

Love the content. Carl's Mic loud, Jeff could hear ok, the archeologist could not hear hardly at all. Wish the archeologist was properly mic'd.

Jeff needs to get a lidar survey of his property. That should enable your team to make informed suggestions about native encampments.

It is obvious there has been a huge amount of gold mining there with multiple mines and at least one to have an overhead trammel system. The tailings the Old Timers left behind is very profitable these days. Also, it was noticeable in the McKonkie Ranch mine and cave system, with the black light, the quartz veins were sparking with gold.
