thank you for this video! I'm very drawn to these, they look GORGEOUS and the TN size is much better than the huge brick of a notebook A5 is. Easier to cary around. But I don't know if I should get one. I like to journal with fountain pens and this paper is just not very good for that. So many reviews miss this piece of info, because bujo community is more into fineliners and there's not many people testing fountain pens in A&O notebooks. It's funny how it's marketed for fountain pens (among other media), but there's way more to desire in fountain pen paper than just no ghosting.

Oh you’re so right! “Fountain pen friendly” definitely means SO much more than no ghosting. I’m enjoying this notebook for the novelty of it but it won’t be a repeat buy. There are just so many other papers that enhance fountain pen ink!

Wow, so cool to see this size in a chunky notebook! I don't usually like the standard TN size but I'm a sucker for bound notebooks so this intrigues me. Totally agree with you about putting thick notebooks on strings - I can't stand it, and thought I was the only one! Thanks for sharing.

Hmmm, I’ve never tried it on leather so I’m nervous to give an answer. It should stick just fine but I don’t know if it’s flexible once dry like Barge leather cement.

The paper is too thick for me, and the price point makes it easier for me to pass up--but they are so pretty. This would be great for someone creating a keepsake of some kind (art or bible journaling).

I totally see your points! It would be worth it to me if I could use it for a 6 month project or something similar. But as an everyday journal (which is what I use Standard size for) it’s very cost prohibitive!

Just fyi I know of another KZbinr Sunshine sticker co who has a shop and she sells a 192 dot grid notebook that TN sized. Not sure of the gsm off the top of my head but it’s about half the price of the A&O... 😊

I hear you! I’m not naturally artistic. But my favorite thing to do is just write. So I always dive into a book by writing the most mundane things about my day or the random thought that’s in my head at the time. Lately, I’ve been throwing down 2 strips of washi tape and calling it decorated😂.
