I’ve learned the best way to open the boxes without tearing the tabs is to use a letter opener to slip in and lift.

Honest question.... What do you do with all those journals? Is that what you get every month? Journals and pens? Just saw this one opening, and though it's beautiful, I don't know what I'd do with that stuff. It would just clutter my desk....but I'm interested in how much you use it and what for. If everything wasn't on computers now, I might give it a go. I just really want to know if you honestly go through all of that paper for something specific.

I use A&O journals for all kinds of things. This is a quarterly subscription. I use them for my planner, for church and sermon notes, as a personal journal, all sorts of things. There have been some boxes where I wasn’t as thrilled with the items. Those I have tried to give away or sell. But as a lifelong writer/journaler/notetaker I always find uses for the journals.

Regarding packaging, I’m a bit confused that out of all the items they didn’t make a nicer box for the Fountain Pen to store it in. Like the scissor box in a previous box.

Yes, exactly. That’s kind of my point. I’d love a nice case for my pen and I’d gladly sacrifice such decorative boxes for the journals. I understand it’s cost prohibitive to make everything super fancy, but personally I rarely keep the boxes for my journals but I’d definitely keep a nice case for my fountain pen. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree about what stationary boxes should be. I’m SO glad I didn’t cancel after I was enraged by the stupid mug and ridiculous tea tin followed by a water bottle the next month. I loved this box, it is beautiful. . (I also hate the loser affirmations like they had in the camp one. I’m an adult woman I don’t need corny cringe stickers that say don’t be afraid to fail or you got this, I’m not a third grader. These botanical stickers sayings in this box were much much better worded.)

Wow that’s very aggressive. I love the mug and use it to make my son tea since it’s a great size for him. The tea tin holds all of my gel and acrylic pens, and a water bottle is always useful. Also, as another adult woman. Sometimes simple affirmations are needed too. Like someone saying to me “you are doing great” to me when I was a new mom was so helpful to me. Simple but very needed. I get that you didn’t like those items but you don’t need to disparage them. Other people may like them and appreciated them. And implying people who liked them are third graders or stupid and childish is pretty rude.

Personally I found the points she made valid. They didn’t feel like complaints to me as she was fair and she wasn’t obnoxious at all. She was excited for a lot of it and pointed out things i have thought before as well.
