I am honestly so glad that they decided to work on barry for the new season. He got to reunite with his mother. He's seeing a therapist. And he's an agent of ISIS. Fortunately they still kept his character complete intact. Oh and he's now immortal due to the barry factory.

In a way he got off better than Brett or any old ISIS worker since most died or left the company. Now he's pretty much an immortal super spy cyborg. Had to get screwed over alot by Archer mostly and others but somehow came out better at the end.
