Another very enjoyable video from Jim. Just to say, I think it would be a good idea to do a video of some bows or gear that you don't like, explaining why and what your issue is with that kit. I think that would help a lot of prospective shoppers.

I have thought about this but it takes the best part of a day to film and the best part of a day to edit, and I really don’t wanna waste my time on something that I’m not enjoying, Plus whatever it is that I’m reviewing someone has put time and effort into designing and making and I don’t wanna rain on anyone’s parade, if you get me buddy? But it’s definitely something I will potentially look at in the future... Thank you buddy take care :)
@TheLastLancer
@TheLastLancer 5 жыл бұрын
@@ArcheryAdventures I understand that, and I wouldn't expect you to rip into the kit - that wouldn't be fair. I was thinking more a "this is clearly well made but doesn't suit me because....". Or if it is badly made, then its fair to point that out - given the amount of stuff that we all buy over the internet nowadays, and so can't test it for ourselves until its too late! But I appreciate that filming and editing is a very time-consuming activity, so you have to allocate your time carefully. Thanks for taking the time to reply to me though. Now get back to making the strings!

That's right, even the cheap bow felt nice for him. And it's a really cool thing I Guess. That means the quality is not necessary link to the price. And (it's my opinion) there is no "bad bows", only bad connections sometimes between the bow and the archer (even for the expensive ones). Tx you Jim for the review, it's a really beautiful bow and the sound of the bow is nice!!! take care!

Mick Jenner A general rule of thumb is that the closer the bow gets to a true centre cut (cut past centre) the stiffer your arrow needs to be...

@@ArcheryAdventures I was watch a guy on a video , then tried reading into , was talking about carbons and how different string material and shooting further from center , requires weakening the arrow , but the articles never really started with a "stiff" arrow but an arrow that was well in the required spine of that weight bow , Sometimes it's better to just shoot and see ,

1st of all I've been hunting with a bow for 37 years, I have taken many animals all of my animals with the bow, And it's very easy to tune one arrow for 1 particular bow, Show the public that it shoots accurately, Many people review these videos so they can make informed decisions when they spend 500 or more dollars on a bow, Nobody's gonna take your word for it, It's only you saying how great you are, This equipment is being sent to you for free, Some reason I feel like I'm talking to a 15 year old kid.
