Trophy Ridge React H5 Sight: How To Sight In

When I was putting together the 2017 Hunting Bow Project, I needed enough sites to outfit each of our test bows. Trophy Ridge was nice enough to step up by offering five of its React H5 sites.
The React H5 is in the second pricing tier of Trophy Ridge sites, falling just below the React Pro series. This site carries a retail price of $160 - $100 less than the Pro Series. For this savings you give up third axis adjustment and aluminum construction, in favor of Trophy Ridge's Ballistix CoPolymer material. You still get a Trophy Ridge rheostat light that comes with fresh batteries.
Now that I have experience setting up the H5 on a number of the hunting bows, I figured I'd put a video together showing you how I've done it.

Super helpful! I had the shop sight it at 20yds and it hit dead on every time. But when I shot it at 50yds I was consistently 6-8” bellow the target. This vid def helped 🤟🏽

Glad it helped you. I like the site quite a bit. Pins are nice and bright - even in bad lighting I never had to use the light that comes with it. My only gripe is the lack of third axis adjustability. Have to step up to the Pro model to get that, I believe.

Just put mine on.....its spot on perfect....plus the light us the brightest I've ever seen

I haven't had to use the light. My club is not well lit, but those pins are crazy bright. Of the sights I've used, only HHA compares in brightness.

Jon Patterson I just put mine on and had to adjust the sight housing as high as it went and my twenty yard shot is still little high. Any suggestions

Do you think the pro version of this sight is worth the extra $120? Seem like a solid sight but I'm not sure if it's worth that much more to me

Good info thanks, can I ask you why your bow has no stabilizer?

I go back and forth in stabilizers on hunting bows. Sometimes I use them and sometimes not.

Can I add more pins? If so which ones are the same length as the ones that come on the sight. I know they will need to be adjusted individually.

I don't think you can add more pins, though you should probably talk to Trophy Ridge to confirm.

If this sight doesn't have a 3rd axis does that mean shooting out of a tree will be not accurate? How would you make a 3rd axis adjustment without it?

You would have to test shooting at angles on your own. But I wouldn't generally recommend a sight with no third axis adjustment to a tree stand hunter.

Micky THAT'S A FACT what FPS do you have. Turns out my bow's FPS is too low for the H5 so I hit low on 50 and 60 yards.
