Archicad Tip - Cutting Holes in Morph

There are a number of methods to cut a hole in a Morph Element in Archicad. Such as by drawing:
- a box on a selected Morph, through the pet palette Pencil icon
- a rectangle on a selected Morph, then using Push/Pull
- a second Morph and extruding, and using the Boolean operation Subtract
- a Beam (or similar), and using Merge Elements
- or by using Solid Element Operations (but not demonstrated)

but my small box to edit ( where you click pencil icon ) wont show up...how make that box show up so i can edit my morph?

Great short tut again! Next one would be how to tame the editing plane combined with user origin and set rotated grid to model extrusions on morphs with exact coordinates and precision.

Yeah, I had to do a couple of retakes, because the editing plane wasn't behaving as I expected 😂 Maybe better/easier to use an Elevations when using a vertical plane...

@@JamesBadcock haha second that. I've tried a few times to record editing plane tutorials for internal use but something surprising is always happening. I don't know if it's a programming thing or crappy UI specification in the first place.

There's no way to make it acurate with dimensions. How can i draw a shape in a specific location to cut from the cube? as well as curve
