Thank you again Gerald. Just saw the super thanks! This is the first one I've ever received. Made my day!!

Thanks shoegnome, been using arxhicad for around 10 years now and still have so many questions.

Your work is absolutely beautiful. It could be a seemingly small-scale project, but it is packed with so much detail. In the kitchen, for example, you have a pot-filler! Just ridiculous. Thank you for all you do.
@Shoegnome2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. That pot filler is an object I scripted. It's in my template if you want it!

I find that when I use a thin wall for linings it often wants to interact strangely with the main walls. Using a separate layer and changing the intersection number works.
@Shoegnome Жыл бұрын
Yes. If you do layered walls like this you always need to use separate layers with different intersection group numbers. Otherwise it'll be a mess.

Are the light switches a default object in Archicad or is it a custom object?
@Shoegnome2 жыл бұрын
Those are the default out of the box light switches. They're quite good.

@@Shoegnome I think it's only for the US. Can't seem to find them in the INT version. Just 2D symbols with no 3D model.
@Shoegnome2 жыл бұрын
That's annoying! If you got to my template FAQ, you can download the USA Library and copy out those light switches. Definitely worth it: www.shoegnome.com/template/shoegnome-open-template-faq/

This is definitely better way for tiles using a wall than using a slab.
@Shoegnome2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! And if you need a coved base or top or a special course of tile, a complex profile makes it even more powerful for wall tile.
