Hi Jared, I've just downloaded your template and there are missing library parts like windows, staircases etc...how can i fix this....thank you

My template uses the Archicad 27 USA library. You'll need to download that. Check my template FAQ page for more information.

i love your daughter's little edit touches... very adorable. it might also be prudent to suggest to NOT do this process in the active file of whatever project one is in. this avoids bringing in unwanted attributes. yes, you can do the cleanup during the process, but it always helps to have total separation. the same thing we do when we want to bring in an external 2D detail or from an old project with old templates/attributes.

I'll let Madeleine know. And you are absolutely correct. Object creation needs to happen in a clean version of your template and not in an active file. I should have mentioned that! It's important for preventing attribute pollution and also making sure your Objects are built in alignment with your template.

Thank you. I felt the same way for a long time. Once you start dabbling at the edges of object creation, simple GDL suddenly becomes much less scary.
