For many many years I have undervalued the View Map section, and worked mostly on Project Maps. I realised that I was working on the wrong section after I download a sample project file from Graphisoft... In how many obstacles have I been working for years! I used to jumb from Layout to Project View, when the procedure was already set in ArchiCAD: 1. Project View = Only create drawing / sheet / view 2. View Map = That's where you work and design in between different views needed to display the project. 3. Layout = Once the drawing is worked post it on virtual paper. I feel so much in peace now to work on ArchiCAD knowing the list of drawings is smaller and you easily get to the right information and edit without obstacles. Hi Eric, your tutorials are really good - you're a really good teacher! Thanks for posting them. Just to be clear, would you build your model in the Project Map and then create the views (in the view map) from there? Also, if you edit something in the view map will it make those changes in the project map model? Thanks again, Fleur.
