The King should stated that no child will have a title until it can be proved that those kids have the same DNA and that they were born from her body which we all know she did not carry them! May I also mention that the pediatric departments of the NIH are completely overwhelmed because of needing to treat these babies and children who were born with severe problems. Christmas carols have fallen by the way here in America, and I truly miss them. I used to sing with my Girl Scout Troops and with the church I used to attend. We would go to nursing homes and around neighborhoods. Now I sing to my pets when no one is around. I miss so many of the traditions that England has somehow preserved. I knew something was wrong as imsure many of us in the uk 🇬🇧 were how royal births are announced .the notice is just inside the palace gates and always says the palace is oleased to inform etc , this one said the palace has been informed by the duke and duchess ,etc the wording was wrong for the first time drs confirmation signitures by drs not there .i think by this point the palace became aware of what had gone on but it was far too late for them to do a thing .they were boxed in .and not for the first or last time .the race card was played to the max from the very beggining .when we realised a girl freind was invited for xmas .not even catherine got that honour untill she was married nor had any one else

I think the only reason the halfwit and the wife got away with their surrogacy scam was because the late Queen, Prince Philip, Charles and Camilla were of the generations that didn’t touch baby bumps like the younger generation does. My husband’s sister married her 1st cousin all 4 of their children are deformed it’s actually quite sad. This is first hand experience I’ve been in this family 55 years. It’s not legal in this state to marry 1st cousins so they crossed state lines. One of their children now has 3 out of 4 deformed children it’s quite tragic…..sins of the parents still being paid by the grandchildren

Lady C, I’m afraid I’m calling ROT on your comments regarding first cousin marriage. I wish I could refer you to my uncle who is a Consultant in this field, working in the north of England, where he has many Muslim patients who are severely mentally and /or physically disabled. Rare genetic diseases are also prevalent, with many families producing 6 or 10 babies in the hope of a healthy child. More and more of an exception than a rule, in his experience. Multiple children end up unable to care for themselves and lifelong patients of the NHS, which it can ill cope with or afford. The irresponsibility at play here is startling when you consider the reasons behind this practice, which involves maintaining land in the family back home and opening up a root for further family members to migrate to the UK. Not unlike the reasons with past European Royalty-land, money, power + strategic alliances. I know not of the school of thought that you refer, but not only does it go against the grain culturally in our societies, but it has long been denounced by our medical profession. With such advances in DNA and genome technology, I am not the only one that sees it as tantamount to incest and a practice to be thoroughly discouraged. So here endeth the sermon, but I feel very strongly about yet another practice antithetical to our culture being legitimized and accepted as the norm.

I live in a part of the Midwest that has a sizable Amish population. The Amish are an almost completely closed society where first cousin marriages have been common for many decades, with disastrous results. Crossed-eyes, female facial hair, one leg shorter than the other and other physical markers of too close blood ties are apparent everywhere. Geneticists who have followed their bloodlines for years have suggested that in a couple of centuries they will no longer be in existence. I write this only to point out that taken to extremes inbreeding is a very bad thing. I blame the Amish on their long history of severely curtailing education amongst their people. I suspect this may not be true any longer. At least 50 years ago, the Amish recognized this potential issue, and they hired young men in the community to supply their stud services for a price. It's been common practice for years. Additionally, they ensure the women are married off to other Amish communities. They'll send their women to communities in other States and among the Canadian communities. These 2 practices in place for so long has gone a long way to solve the problem.

Lady C it has been the law in the uk since 1849 that all children's birth certificates have to have the parents name Christian names and maiden names also other names they have been known by also the date of the parents marriage, both certificates produced by the harkles were not legal birth certificates if they were from any registry office the registrar has made a cock up and needs firing ,William and Catherine kids birth certs are genuine you just have to look to see the difference, or was Harry's child so special that it couldn't have megs name and only duchess 😂😂😂😂😂

Hello Lady C-I don’t usually disagree with you, but first cousin marriages are not desirable. First cousins share an average of 12.5% of their DNA, so if you marry your first cousin, you have a much higher chance of having a child with some sort of recessive condition like hemophilia, cystic fibrosis, etc. Male offspring usually fare worse because some conditions like hemophilia are carried on the X chromosome, which means that males don’t have the protection of the second X chromosome. Here in the US, first cousin marriages are illegal in over half of our states for that reason (possible concentration of genes for harmful conditions). I’m not suggesting that any other country needs to follow suit, but first cousin marriage is a much more risky gamble than marrying a stranger. Love to you and all of your furry babies. Hope that the kitties settle down soon so that you can enjoy them even more. Merry Christmas!

I lived in an Arab Gulf Country in which children grow up practically expecting to marry one of their first cousins. When this happens generation after generation, it inevitably increases the chances of birth defects. On the other hand, my Italian paternal grandparents, first cousins, married in 1912. They had to get a special dispensation from the Vatican. It was ascertained that none of their ancestors had married cousins, also, that there were no health conditions in their bloodline. They had five children, who were all above average in looks and intelligence, and longevity. So, yes, first cousins marriage can work both ways, but it should not be repeated over the generations.
