I love the tip about the BW+Colorize! Did you not end up making a 3D model of the project?
@ArchiHacks4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's definitely one of my favourite features! We ended up making a 3D model later but this rendering was pretty independent from the model :)

Great vid! Could you make a video about compressing your portfolio? Perhaps I am doing it wrong but the imagines I make in photoshop then put into illustrator always make huge pdf's and when I compress them they look pixilated. Thanks for the content!
@ArchiHacks4 жыл бұрын
Hi Cam, that's a tough question! 😅 There are many factors at play but some of the precautions I recommend include compressing your psd to a jpg, making sure your illustrator canvas is big enough, and illustrator file is scaled properly in Indesign (100% scaling in the frame) Let me know if you would like more clarification!

How can I transfer work from illustrator to photoshop without losing it's quality?
@ArchiHacks4 жыл бұрын
Hi Anthony, I think the best way would be to import the illustrations as smart objects, and ensure that your Photoshop canvas has enough pixels to display the level of detail you are looking for!
@anthonyraymundo91024 жыл бұрын
Archi Hacks thanks for replying! is that your method of choice? it’d be cool if you could do video on transferring between illustrator and photoshop 😂 I just want my images to look crisp lol
@dickxonfernando904 жыл бұрын
hey quick question, is it a taboo thing to use a CC0 picture on your render photo in architecture?? and when you're put your render on your portfolio do you credit them the author of the original picture? btw great videos man! your videos keeps me motivated
@ArchiHacks4 жыл бұрын
Hey that's a great question. As far as I'm aware, CC0 should be no problem. This is of course from my experience working as an architect, not a visualization artist. Anything above that could legally require attribution, so that's something to keep in mind. I'm not an expert in this field, so make sure to double check when using someone else's images!
